This place was like a second home to me growing up. Now that I’m older it is still a place with the greatest memories, lots of laughs, stories and smiles. Throughout the years I have met all the owners, few that there were. All of them the finest you could get. Now Joyce and her daughter run a damn good place, with the best atmosphere and food. They treated my dad well and me as well. Only downfall I have is not knowing when they make their beef and noodles with mashed potatoes. They should have it advertised on Facebook or reach out to a gal to let her know. Yum!!! It’s been far too long!

They give you a lunch menu that has prices in it. Then they bring you dinner portions and charge you dinner prices. We ordered a $13 sandwich. Soup and one drink. The bill it was almost fifty dollars. They said they brought a dinner portion. And since we didn’t return it, we had to pay full price.

Local Bar and Eatery. Low Class of staff and interior decor matches the menu items. Nothing special about “The Rock” but worth a lunch stop for burgers, tenderloins, and Homemade Soups. Locals congregate to play cards most days. Lots of parking and near the New St Mary’s Church, under construction.
