Saturday 24th January 2026! I’m beginning to sound like a broken player that keeps repeating itself! What a superb evening we all had, again and again! The same great smiles, same delicious curry, I even tried a different dish and omg, the flavours keep on coming. Left overs are such a treat, you can ask for a little tub & warm it up the next day. It’s a lovely reminder of what a yummy curry you had, the quality is just as top notch the next day! Such a lovely atmosphere along with the great team, they cannot do enough for you. Keep doing what you’re doing. Best curry house in the South! See you again soon 🙂

We came here for the review responses and stayed for the amazing food.
The starters were amazing (we had the mixed kebab) and the mains didn’t disappoint! (I practically licked my plate clean )
The staff were all so pleasant and polite and not looking at us over our shoulders to ensure we had everything we needed giving us the right amount of enjoyment with our food.
If I could rate you guys higher I would!

Went here at short notice after local people recommended during our stay in Weymouth. We were 8 hungry men and were blown away by the superb food. In fact the whole experience was great, lovely friendly staff and tasteful decor.
We seriously considered going there the next night too. The only other place I’ve eaten on a par with this is ‘Flavours’ on the Isle of Man and I’ve eaten in many great Indian restaurants.
Great shame they don’t have a place in Cardiff!!

What a lovely find in Weymouth. Came here on a Sunday evening so it was very quiet and relaxing. A beautiful restaurant!
The food was outstanding, it was the tastiest curry I’ve had. The service was lovely, all staff were friendly and welcoming.
We will be returning again on our next holiday to Weymouth, it may become a holiday tradition!

We dined at Shalims on a very wet windy evening before going to a show . There is parking close by and it’s free after 6 pm, it’s a very easy walk for anyone that has walking difficulties. The menu is straight forward and had lots of choices. The portions are generous and everything was delicious, we will definitely come again when in Weymouth.

Have been dining at Shalims for over 16 years, and it truly is the best restaurant in Weymouth. The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and consistently excellent no matter what we order. The Balti Special Masala is an absolute standout – highly recommended! After so many visits, I honestly can’t see how anyone could rate this place less than five stars. A real favourite, with a welcoming atmosphere and well worth a visit every time. I also have noticed their charity support and giving back to the community, clearly lovely owners as well! Really wished they did delivery but the food is that good it wouldn’t stop us collecting.

So… after using other establishments in Weymouth and going off Indian food a touch.. . I decided to order & collect from Shalims. I have to say, Wow ! My Madras was delicious ! Chicken fresh and succulent and lots of it ! ( a lot of other places in Weymouth clearly use the same meat and just reheat ! ) tasty flavours. Bread and papadamas were perfect. And to top it off, the price was amazing. I think I know who I’m sticking with going forward ! Absolutely delicious. Thank you.

If you like a Vindaloo, this is the best one I’ve found in Weymouth. Meat cooked beautifully, great sauce and generous with the potatoes. Everything else I’ve tried has been great too. Thank you Shalim!
