This place is so fun!! Great staff, lots of drink choices, and good food. I highly recommend the fish and chips. It’s close to the San Diego airport if you want to hit up a good local spot before your flight or after you land. Make sure you stop in the restroom for some comic relief:) You’ll understand once you go:)

Awesome place. I love coming here to watch big football (soccer) games—the atmosphere is incredible. If you’re coming for a game, make sure to arrive early because it fills up fast.
Even outside of game days, it’s a great spot. I came with work friends for a birthday lunch, and the food was very good—well presented, filling, and reasonably priced.
I had the fish and chips with a Guinness, and it exceeded my expectations. My friend’s burger also looked great and tasted excellent. Highly recommend either option.

Love their specials- came here with husband for a ManU match on Boxing Day and they actually won- so it was a wonderful atmosphere! Lots of seating, attentive service! Accessible by trolley so fun to drink and head back out 🙂

We went for the fish and chips, and we were not disappointed. The generous portion of cod was perfectly cooked. The french fries too were excellent, although there was much more than there needed to be! This dish could be shared by two people. The freeway noise was there which attracted a little bit but didn’t prevent us from being able to have a conversation.

Went here on the way to the airport. Atmosphere was great and had the typical Irish Pub vibe. Service was good. Guinness was on draught and was good. The fish and chips were a huge disappointment, however. The fries were undercooked and limp. Quite awful actually. The fried fish was ok but not the best in the USA as they claim. Overall – MEH.

We came for the famous fish and chips. They were good not great. Cooked properly, crispy and moist but a little bland. We added lemon, malt vinegar, and salt and that made it better. The tartar sauce was very good. The real miss was the curry crab cake. It was more like a potato cake (very little crab) with a weird curry sauce on it.
This place does have a fun atmosphere. It’s probably a cool place to grab a beer and watch soccer but just not my cup of high tea.

Y’all- they have a whole vegetarian menu (and vegan) of British foods! I got the veg shepherds pie and it was delicious (my friend got the meaty shep pie and loved it too). Chips with malt, peas, and proper British taps for beers. Lovely staff, nice patio and lots of indoor seating too. Bonus- stop here after your show at the Old Globe & stay in theme!

We came to the pub with our personal driver Darren during a day in San Diego. We had the lovely Brittany Y as our server. The fish and chips was very authentic and delicious. The deserts were out of this world. Would definitely recommend the deep fried brownies and the sticky toffee pudding. Definitely a must do when in San Diego

I visted to try the fish & chips. They are advertised as “…the best in the USA.” The fish & chips are average and overpriced at $23.95. A better quality can be found for less ($17.00.)
