I happened to stop by this burger place near the Washington university, and it was such a great find! From the first bite, the burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The patty was perfectly cooked, and the fresh vegetables balanced everything so well, creating a rich and satisfying taste.
Even the kids absolutely loved it and finished their burgers without any complaint! It feels like a hidden neighborhood gem, and I’m so glad we discovered it. We’ll definitely be coming back.

The shakes? Absolutely divine. Made with fresh ice cream, each sip is rich, creamy, and irresistibly satisfying. The fries strike the perfect balance — golden and crispy on the outside, tender and fluffy on the inside. And the burgers… juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, each bite is a testament to careful, thoughtful preparation.
For anyone searching for a local spot that deserves serious recognition, Stack and Shake is it. One visit, and you’ll understand why this hidden gem has our full recommendation.

Please beware. They served raw meat for a pick up order – they had already packed the incorrect order the first time around (they packed two sets of fries). I showed them the raw burger and the employee just said “Oh you want it well done?” I let her know I did not want it remade as I felt it was unsanitary. I left the order with them.

My girlfriend and I love this place! Their milkshakes are incredible. We unknowingly ordered at closing one night and immediately apologized; the staff was so kind, warm, welcoming, and willing to serve us! We appreciated that from one of our most popular go-to places. Their service workers are always so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place!

Food was good, service was as expected from a burger shop. Unfortunately I found a small sliver of foil from the French fries which has something to do with how the strain them from the oil. I let the worker know and she apologized and then came back with free BBQ sauce. I could not take a picture since they took it away before I could take a photo (it didn’t occur to me to take a picture until they took away the foil).

Great burger for Seattle pricing – spent a little over $40 for 2 energy drinks and 2 burgers with a side of sweet potato fries. The burgers were thick and juicy and well seasoned. Excellent food and good atmosphere.

Wow—did not expect a random burger joint on this block away from the Ave to be this good. Hefty double patties, good classic sauce, amazing battered fries, brioche buttered bun, pickles onions, friendly service even though they were super busy. $18 after tip for a huge well seasoned clearly handmade double patty and a giant portion of fries all for takeout. Better than Red Mill and blows Burgermaster out of the water.

Since the start of fall quarter, I noticed the “opening soon” sign on my way to class so I made a note to try it out when I could. I am very happy that I did and found a potentially new burger spot close to my classes.
I ordered the Stack Attack and the cashier was very helpful and informative about the meals and also told me about the promotions coming up (albeit a bit soft-spoken but that’s okay). The wait for my meal was about 7 to 10ish-minutes, which isn’t too long in my opinion. Come to find out it was because the food was cooked fresh and when I ordered it! It’s hard to find a good burger spot that cooks burgers right when you order it and not have it on stand-by.
The burger and fries were well-cooked and tasted delicious. I asked for no tomatoes on mine and they surely made it with no tomatoes. The fries were also very well-cooked and made and were a pretty large serving size (but I have no complaints on that).
Overall, I highly recommend everyone tries this burger spot out if in the area. They are relatively new and there wasn’t much customers inside but hopefully that changes and they get new customers and new regulars for their restaurant. I for one will definitely be trying this place again!

Owner and workers are clearly motivated to do well and aim to please their customers! Great food and owner was sympathetic to a longer than normal wait due to a large party. Provided a couple complimentary cookies and was apologetic for the wait! Would eat here again!!
