I drive by quite often on my way home. I wanted to see the structure named after singer, Whitney Houston. I decided to grab lunch while running errands. The building structure is beautiful with huge windows. There is a small section with Whitney’s accomplishments. The stop has a nice dining space. Makes easy for grab and go or dine in. Ordered burgers and fries with lemonade. I didn’t have the wait time issue I see others complain about. Our food was served fast and hot. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
I would definitely stop here again.

Located at a really nice rest area on the Garden State Parkway North in Union. Ive been here many times and my food is always great! I especially like the Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger and Fries … very yummy!

Like other people have experienced, my order was wrong. Got the SmokeShack burger and it was only once I got home after they were already closed that I realized it was missing bacon. How hard is it to get a simple order correct. And on top of that the food was in open wrappers instead of take out containers so by the time I got home a few minutes later, everything was cold. Burger patty also seemed smaller than a quarter pound. Overall not a good first (and now last) experience.

We stopped at a rest stop in New Jersey. This was my first visit to Shake Shake. The food was delicious. Be sure to get a shake! Rest rooms were very clean and the seating was comfortable.

I’ve been to several shake shacks in my time, while the food was good it was not up to the typical standards of Shake Shacks. The staff was great, especially considering the volume of customers coming and going. The main reason for a low score was the food not being as good as anticipated and the lack of seating, in part because it was at a rest stop off the highway

I’ve been to a lot of Shake Shack locations and the one in Union is easily one of the best. The menu is a bit more limited compared to bigger city spots but everything they do have is fresh and on point. The staff moves fast and keeps things running smoothly even during busy hours. Burgers come out hot and juicy and the crinkle fries always hit. If you’re looking for a quick and consistently good meal this spot delivers every time.

The manager was very rude and stated “whoever put this order in needs to be smacked” this was our family’s order. We are in town visiting from Texas. There were missing items from our order. Ms Lady manager… you are in the business of serving people. If you don’t like the business you are in, choose a different job. You have no place to treat folks this way, in action or words. We spent $158 in your store and was treated very ill. Sad…very sad.

I got the shroom burger and for a vegetarian meal this was really good. The cheese fries could’ve used more cheese though in my opinion.
