The food? Classic Shake Shack greatness with a few new twists. The Angus smash burgers are perfection — crispy edges, juicy centers, melty cheese, and that soft potato bun that ties it all together. This is hands-down the best burger chain in the country. Fries are their usual crinkle-cut selves, but dunk them in the cheese cup and suddenly they’re addicting.
But here’s where Reston steps up: onion rings and exclusive boba drinks. Yes, onion rings! Golden, crunchy, and exactly what you want alongside that burger. And the boba? Creamy, chewy, refreshing — a combo you’d never expect at Shake Shack but somehow works perfectly. These extras make this location feel like a foodie insider’s secret.
Ignore the nitpicky 1-star reviews about things like a broken door. That has nothing to do with the food, the service, or the overall experience. What actually matters is what’s on your tray — and here, it’s one knockout after another.
Between the burgers, shakes, cheese fries, onion rings, and now boba drinks, this Shack is easily my new favorite. Reston, you’re spoiled — and I’m officially hooked.
And I really want to say that this is the best Shake Shack I’ve been to, the employees were kind, the restaurant was clean, and the trash cans weren’t overflowing like at Tyson’s. So if I am in the mood for a pricey smash burger or a really good shake again I’ll be coming to this location for them.
