Disappointing experience.

We visited Shake Shack on a Saturday around 6:45 pm. It was pretty busy, which we expected, but the overall experience just didn’t live up to the hype.

Everything felt very hands-off. Self-ordering, self-seating, and it honestly seemed like self-cleaning, too. We didn’t get a table until right before our food came out, and most tables needed to be wiped down by customers if you wanted a clean spot.

Ordering was another frustration. There was no option to customize sauces on the self-order screen, even though they clearly had the sauces available. As a picky eater, that was disappointing and limiting.

The food itself didn’t help. The burgers were much smaller than they look in photos, and my onion rings weren’t very hot. Overall, the food was just okay at best, especially for the price.

None of us were impressed, and unfortunately this isn’t somewhere we’d return to.

Shake Shack never disappoints! Always love their Shack burger and cheese fries.

This location has indoor and outdoor seating available and also serves beer and wine. It’s usually quite busy but orders come up quickly.

They have a place to park your dog and coloring sheets for kids.

Stopped in on a Saturday about 4pm. This was our first time to visit a Shake Shack.

I had the smoky classic bbq burger and fries and my wife went with the bacon cheeseburger. We both loved the burgers, great flavor and filling.

Service was good also.

First time trying this place and it was SO good! I’m normally not a big red meat eater but this place was GREAT!! I got the smokehouse bbq burger. The fried onions, the crunchy pickles, the sauce, the very flavored beef, it wad all so freakin tasty!! The cheese fries were good and the orange float was good. The chicken bites were mostly breading and the little chicken that you tasted, tasted old. I’d be back just for the burger though! It was a 47 minute drive for us but well worth it!

I found the tablet ordering system frustrating to use. You have to submit your phone number to order, and if you input the number incorrectly there’s no way to fix it without cancelling your order and starting completely over. Do not clear your basket, you must cancel the entire order and start over. After going through this process multiple times I wondered why I would pay $30 for 2 hamburgers, 2 small drinks, and 1 side of onion rings when I had yet to interact with an employee. I decided it wasn’t worth it and walked out.

The burgers are delicious and juicy. The staff are attentive. And you can place your order using the self-service machines, where you choose your options. I will come back again.

Waited 15 minutes for cold fries and little to no veggies on my sandwich. Spent almost $70 on 3 meals. Don’t waste your money! The grilled cheese is a joke didn’t even fill my 6 year olds stomach!

Shake Shack food quality is top notch for a fast food restaurant. The burgers are excellent. The Shack Burger is always perfectly done. The patty edges are crispy and the ingredients fresh. You can add pickles, onions, and other basic toppings for free. The Smokehouse burger is also a favorite. The bacon is well-cooked and the cherry peppers add a bit of heat to the burger.

Fries are crispy on the outside and soft inside. Highly recommend the cheese fries if you like tangy melted cheese!

I never leave Shake Shack without a shake. You can’t go wrong with the chocolate or vanilla. Love that they have a wide variety of flavor options and even floats if you don’t want a shake.

The only downside is this location can get very busy during lunch and dinner. My wait time during peak hours can be around 20 minutes. Also, just a heads up there is no drive through!

Where do I start? Walking out of the handicapped parking we noticed one of the cement things that stop your car from driving onto the sidewalk had been knocked loose so I couldn’t access the sidewalk wothout walking around it. I didn’t see the piece of rebarb that once held that huge cement piece down to the pavement was sticking up. I nearly tripped over it my husband screamed and tried to catch me. I fell in Jan 6th of this year breaking my left patella in half by 6 inches and completly ripping it apart from my lower and upper leg bones so if I had fallen down it would have been catastrophic. I also have Multiple Sclerosis and Stage 4 Osteperosis. My husband went inside and spoke to a manager about the dangers of the rebarb sticking up and someone getting seriously hurt if they fell on it. They addressed it and i really hope they take it seriously and fix it before an elderly or another handicapped person is injured. I came into this location around 7pm. After ordering and paying I notice everyone is waiting for food. Not a good sign. The only table was filthy so I wiped it off. After 50 minutes we received our order. I got a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and sauce it was bland. The burger sauce incredibly salty. The parmesaun fries were not great. The cheese tasted funky. The garlic sauce was nasty. My husband had a plain hamburger with pickles and lettuce and regular fries. Neither of us thought the food was worth $38.00 we added 15% tip. The size of the burgers are small. We both left disappointed. I doubt I will be returning. Please hire enough staff to get food out in a timely manner. For a monday night it was packed.

I’ve been hearing about the Shake Shack from my friend who lives in the KC metro area so I decided to give it a spin and was definitely impressed with their Burgers. I pulled up and parked not knowing what to expect. I was hungrier than a hostage and ready for dinner. When I walked in I seen all these screens to my left but I ordered my meal the old school way via thru another human. I paid about 18 dollars I believe for the Bacon Cheeseburger with a no salt Crinkle Fry and large drink. I was able to get my own drink from their Soda fountain which serves Coke products only. I liked how everything seemed simple. I wish I could of got close up pictures of the wall Menu and will next time I’m there. It took about 8-10 mins to get my order so I knew it was going to be fresh. The buns they use for their Burgers are beyond tasty and delicious. Best bun ever and the Burger itself with the melted cheese and Applewood Bacon was givin me summertime vibes. The fries were Crispy and I never wanted them to end either. I ate my meal outdoors since it wasn’t to cool yet and they have plenty of seating outside and for the inside, there’s a dining area that has a long wall that splits the tables from the soda machine. It reminded me of a wall you’d see in a prison movie but this place had nothing but pleasant people and staff so I felt comfortable and safe there. They even had a waterbowl for your dog outside but I didn’t let my Lil doggy partake cause you just never know but the water looked very clean and fresh. And what I also liked was the Two, yes two, Cornhole beanbag toss games you could play with a friend or date. I will definitely be going back up here soon just to get a burger. The only complaint I have is I wish the Burger was a little bigger but maybe I ordered the smaller one and didn’t realize it. The Shake Shack is a definite Homerun and a serious contender in the Burger Wars. Their food speaks for itself and I will be trying a Shake next time to let you all know. Please don’t overlook this place cause you won’t be disappointed when you go.
