Awful food but wonderfully friendly staff! The burger was okay, fries had a pound of seasoning dumped on top of them and the sealed ranch dip cups were disgusting and cheap. Not a fan of the do-it-yourself ordering as I wasn’t able to order my burger lettuce wrapped which is a common option at every other burger establishment.

They consistently delivers quality in every bite, and my experience with their burgers has been nothing short of exceptional. My go-to choice is the Smoke Shack Burger, a delightful combination of perfectly seared beef, smoky bacon, chopped cherry peppers, and a touch of tangy ShackSauce. The balance of flavors is outstanding—each element complements the other, creating a satisfying and crave-worthy burger.
Currently, my favorite is their exclusive Black Truffle Burger. This burger takes things up a notch with its rich, decadent black truffle sauce that pairs beautifully with the juicy patty. The earthy truffle notes add a gourmet twist, elevating it beyond the usual fast-food experience. The combination of fresh ingredients and inventive flavors makes Shake Shack a standout in the burger scene. Whether you’re a fan of classic flavors or looking to try something unique, Shake Shack offers a burger for every palate.

Dude. $11 for a burger and you can’t provide fresh lettuce?!?! This is gross. I was going to be leaving an awesome review because the staff that helped me was great! He helped me be able to pay in cash and get our fries in boxes so they were still warm when they got home to the fam. This food is not cheap! So how can you not afford lettuce that isn’t wilted and moldy?!

The food was amazing as always. It’s about their only saving grace. I wanted to pay cash, so I couldn’t use their self serve Kiosk. I stood at the cash register to place my order for almost 10 mins. Employees passing me to deliver food to tables. Just as I was getting ready to leave, a female came up and said “Hi”. Not can I take your order or anything, just Hi.
So she took my order and said $12.58. I handed her the $.58 and a $20. She puts the change on the counter, spreads it out, flip some over and after a few moments looks at me and says “sorry, I’m trying to do some math.” I politely say, 2 quarters make 50, 55, 56, 57, 58….she accepted it and finished the transaction, but what kind of training is management providing? And what kind of manager puts someone in charge of the cash register that struggle’s to count $.58 in pocket change. And it’s not like I gave a mix of dimes and nickles. It was 2 quarters, 1 nickle and 3 pennies.
But even though it was expensive for a single patty burger and fries, the food was delicious. I just don’t get management’s decisions or the lack of customer service for ordering.

Picked up a takeout order today. Food was fine and was enjoyed. Walking in and picking up the food was an uncomfortable experience. We noticed two workers being extremely rude and disrespectful to another employee. Felt incredibly bad for the man who was helping with the take out orders as he was very kind and helpful.

Didn’t get what was ordered, ingredients left off. Fries were dry, bland. No one to greet when entered restaurant, had to figure out automated screen and assign a number for delivery to table only no numbers were present. Shakes were good!

10/10 This was my first time ever visiting a Shake Shack and it was probably the best food I’ve ever had had a chain restaurant.
Not only was the food delicious but the restaurant was spotless clean and the staff was very polite and courteous. I wish we had a location in Springfield Mo.

Nice varied menu. The time I got my receipt at the front register to the time I received my order was 7 minutes during peak hours, which is definitely nice. The cheese fries were hot and crispy and even came with a little wooden fork perfect for eating the fries with without getting my hands dirty. The frozen custard was the consistency you want it to be, and the green chilli burger had just the right amount of green chilli at just the right spice and a decent sized patty. The restaurant is very modern and clean, and even the GM was present doing expo and greeting customers. It has the feeling of getting a slightly better than a hamburger stand food, within an upscale fast casual restaurant. I got a single patty specialty burger, 2 scoops of frozen custard, and a basket of cheese fries for $17. Which isnt the worst for the quality I recieved. If i was in the mood for a burger and fries type of meal this would definitely be on my go to list.

Let me start by saying the food and shakes were GREAT! Tasted fresh and seasoned well, kids loved the shakes! Reason for 4 stars is the price, it’s all a la cartel, so expect to spend $$$ while here. But otherwise a nice spot!
