Shake Shack is merely … MEDIOCRE.
The burgers are decent and pretty consistent with what you’d expect from the chain. The ShackBurger had good flavor, but nothing that really stood out or made me think I’d go out of my way to come back. The fries were okay—crispy enough, but not especially memorable unless you load them up with cheese.
Service was GREAT, though it felt a little rushed and impersonal, especially during a busy time. The place was clean, but seating can feel CRAMPED with dining room area a bit boring.
Prices are on the HIGHRR side for what you get at In-N-Out, which is probably my biggest complaint. For the cost, I expected something a bit more impressive or unique.
Overall, Shake Shack in Palm Desert is a solid option if you’re already nearby and want a reliable burger, but it’s not somewhere I’d strongly recommend or crave. It does the job—nothing more, nothing less.

First time having Shake Shack. Came in on Sunday for an interview the atmosphere smelt so good that I had to come back to try the food. Everyone is super friendly. The shroom burger was absolutely amazing 10/10. Tried the limited time lemonade with mini boba that was amazing as well. Definitely worth it.

The restaurant was clean and the customer service was friendly. The ordering was simple and easy. Price was alittle more than expected (ordered 2 burgers, cheese fries, 2 milkshakes and a soda for $52) i was surprised they charged extra for Whipcream on the milkshakes and the cheese fries were small and barely had any cheese on them. The burgers were good but nothing super special. It was a fine experience but definitely a 1 and done type of thing.

Food was ok nothing out of this world. I wasn’t impressed with the food we ordered. You can definitely get a better burger at other local restaurants for half the price and better taste. We spent almost $60 for two fast food meals. Plus they asked for a tip even though we used the self service kiosk.

We recently checked out the newly opened Shake Shack in Palm Desert to see what all the buzz was about. It wasn’t too busy, which made for a comfortable visit. The burgers were on the pricier side, but definitely delicious, and the custard shakes were equally tasty. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, making it a nice spot to relax and enjoy your meal. Overall, while a bit on the expensive side, the quality and experience might just bring us back for another visit.

My first experience was Shake Shack was in New York City and it was something special. Now that they spread around the country I think they’ve lost something. The burgers are fine but nothing unusual, And it feels like just another fast food burger place. This one happens to be on the fancy drag and Palm Desert so you might expect a little more.

Ordered a black truffle Angus the only thing it tasted like was fat and Swiss cheese the fries were bland the Flavor was the Parmesan cheese. They were smothered in the bacon paid extra for was paper thin the order was 15 minutes after the pick up when i ordered it 2 hours in advance I order a root beer float in the side it was the most Disgusting root beer I ever had ended up throwing it away before even going through half of it

Shake Shack absolutely delivered. fantastic food all around. The burgers were cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and worth every bite. The gentleman who served us was polite, genuine, and full of manners, and the rest of the staff was equally friendly and upbeat. A real standout experience, proper burgers and sides done right.
