Had an excellent lunch at Oishii Sushi on Preston Road. Our server was truly outstanding — incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We let them guide the experience, and their recommendations were spot-on.
We ended up trying a wide variety of items, and every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the service here.
Between the welcoming atmosphere, top-tier service, and memorable flavors, this is easily a spot we’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend trusting the staff’s suggestions — they don’t miss.

Service was ok. Food was way overpriced for the quality. Every roll is some combination of tempura x chopped fish. The sushi looked uninspired and all you could taste was tempura. The best thing I had here was the black tiger prawns.

Patty was amazing. I’m usually pretty picky and set on foods I’m familiar with but she made a recommendation that I chanced and it ended up being my new favorite. It wasn’t just the food either the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. Good energy all around. I’ll definitely be back and I’ll be bring people with me.

This is compact but the seating is setup perfectly so that any size party can fit. The entire staff was courteous and kind. Our server was also attentive and an expert on the menu. He was even able to give me a detailed ingredient list when I mentioned my food allergies. The Crab Rangoon was delicious but the sauce made it top tier. The Dynamite Roll is what made this place a regular when it come to sushi spots.

Forgot to do this review sooner, but we went for Valentine’s Day and found this to be one of the best sushi places we have tried in Dallas. Excellent quality, fresh, beautiful display, good service, and fun variety! Would definitely return!

The best sushi I’ve had in Dallas outside of Uchi and Nobu. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is visually nice and clean.
The nigiri was so fresh and tasty. The portions are generous. I got the Uptown Roll on soy paper and it was delicious.
The prices are reasonable for such high quality sushi.

We love every other Oishii location and the food is always 10/10. This is the second time we’ve had issues at this location. Arrived 6:50 for our 7:00 pm reservation. At 7:10, asked where our table was after seeing others get seated and was told the manager was “going to look into it” and he immediately went to hide in the kitchen. 7:15 asked again and was told the OTHER manager was going to look at it and she also left and never acknowledged us. At 7:25 we finally got seated with no acknowledgment from either manager on the wait. We were the only group waiting for our table and stood by as multiple tables of 2 sat at 4 tops and managers clearly sat close friends ahead of us.
