Usually, Shake Shack inside airports has employees who feel cold or low key unfriendly.
Like… they’re just there to survive their shift
BUT THIS LOCATION?? Totally different
Every single employee was smiling, happy and genuinely nice
You could tell they actually enjoy working there ✨
The energy was so positive it rubbed off on me too
Straight up native, good vibes energ
The person who took my order even told me her name, but listen…my memory is too so I’m sorry
She was a petite Black woman short full of happyvirus energy and SO kind. Seriously made my day
And yes, the burger and fries were delicious too
Great food amazing service and zero airport attitude
Honestly this Shake Shack restored my faith in airport food spots

The worst Shake Shack I’ve ever tried, sadly. Maybe I should have expected it because it’s located in an airport… but everything was greasy and overpriced. Sadly, I wouldn’t get SS again at Lambert airport.

It’s an airport so expectations are already bottomed out so the higher stars are because of those expectations not comparing it to a store front. Staff that absolutely don’t want to be there but are friendly anyway. Easy to use kiosk to order food. Clean ordering area. All that said, they got my order wrong and I didn’t have time to ask them to remake it. On the upside I got to try something I normally wouldn’t order and it was tasty!

Great burgers and fries. Have strong allergy support. Decent milk shakes also. Limited seating.

Agonizingly bad service. 15 minute wait, no fries. Workers talking together or on phone. Zero sense of urgency or customer service. Airport staff would never make it at a store. Food was OK. Despite zero fries. You are stuck at airport, otherwise this would go out of business. Government-run style service employees. Somehow, Chick-fil-A hires well at airport, other places have the folks who don’t care. Bummer. Shake Shack HQ should check this out.

One of the cheaper places in the STL airport. They were opening pretty early too. Burger hit the spot.

I was traveling to my city and, out of hunger, decided to try a place I had known about but never visited before.

I ordered the Chicken Shack, and it was absolutely amazing—I definitely want to have it again.

Honestly not bad. Offers breakfast options. Above average airport food quality. My breakfast sammy was under $7 too.

The breakfast sandwich was actually very tasty. The reason for the three stars was the shake was not good at all. It was super watery and probably the worst I’ve had. Since Shake is in the name I was expecting something delicious and was very disappointed.

If you don’t like mayo, don’t come here. Food was okay. Only chose this place bc it’s the only one who would give us a non-breakfast meal. No plate or piece of paper to eat over. Dry chicken.
