Shake shack is located near concourse A just after TSA security with a few other food options sharing the same dining area. This was convenient as you csn order before you have the option to head down to your particular gate, and there are electrical outlets so you can charge your device while eating. Shake shack staff were very pleasant and the operation appeared to be clean and staffed sufficiently to ensure quick food preparation, which was exactly what I experienced. Hamburger was fairly small but tasty so I can recommend that, however I was surprised that cheese fries simply came with a side of pasty cheese sauce. Not exactly what I was expecting, won’t do that again… make sure you use the name ‘Kip’ or ‘LaFawnduh” when you order, moay staff can’t help but crack up laughing – but one guy will not be broken and yells out the order name with a straight face each time. Absolutely Epic.

OK, if you’re lowball rating an airport Shake Shack… news flash: it’s an airport freshly made sorta fast food burger place. You’re gonna have to wait a little. It’s fresh. Burger was good, fries were fries. It was all hot and fresh. Bun was soft but grilled crisp. What more do you want? You all probably ordered the hot dog or chicken sandwiches. Go home. It’s a grilled burger and fries. Not filet mignon.

Grabbed one for my connecting flight meal. Good thing the dinner rush was over and was able to get this quick before going to my flight. Tasty burger, the bun can handle the patties and toppings pretty well.

Ordered the Shack Burger (loved the shack sauce), the Chicken Shack and Fries! The food was either really really good or I was really hungry! Either way we enjoyed the food. The service was amazing! Eric took our order and he was very friendly with each and every customer! The line was super long but the wait time wasn’t! The prices weren’t even high which is rare in airports! Bravo Shake Shack!!

We ordered two smoke shack burgers. They’re a little small so if you’re really hungry get the double. Fries were nice and warm and fresh. The cheese fries comes with cheese in the side the cheese is mediocre. The cookies and cream shake was good but I’ve had better. Overall pretty good for a quick bite in the airport.

It would be nice if you put someone seem to care the job and customer need at the front.
Also shroom very hard over cook i can tell the oil was old.
Ps. I was there around 7.35-8am 9/17

It was fine, about average for airport food. The fries didn’t have salt on them.

Let me start with the service wasnt bad and the time it took was fine. The burgers were okay but nothing great. I’ve had Shake Shack before at another location and really enjoyed it. This time was just trash, perhaps I shouldn’t have expected much from airport food but the shake just tasted like chocolate syrup that all pooled at the bottom but the worst was the cheese fries. The advertising on the menu in the airport shows the cheese melted over the fries, we got cold fries with a side of cold hard cheese that wouldn’t even come out of the container. I flipped it directly over the fries and the cheese did not move. I tried dipping them instead and it just wasn’t happening. Super disappointing but oh well. Don’t get the cheese fries.

The lines were long but that’s how it is at the airport. The food was cold when I got it though, and the fries were soggy! Nobody expects to get a soggy fries when you wait in the line for a long time, because they should be busy with making more food to fill in the orders. The burgers were as small as in-n-out burgers and the taste wasn’t better either. Nothing sucks more than eating a cold food after waiting in a long line.

The Shake Shack at Salt Lake City International Airport delivers exactly what you’d expect from the brand—delicious, consistently good food and friendly service. The burgers are fresh, the crinkle-cut fries are perfectly crisp, and the shakes hit the spot every time. The staff is welcoming and efficient, even during busy hours, which adds to a pleasant dining experience for travelers passing through.
That said, the speed of service could use some improvement. Given that most customers are on a tight schedule with flights to catch, a quicker turnaround time would go a long way. While the quality of the food makes it worth the wait, a more streamlined process during peak travel times would make this location even better.
