Shaka Burgers Hawaii Food Truck is a food destination for locals and visitors. Specializing in burgers and local cuisine. The heart of the burgers are 100% Local Grass-fed beef. Their signature burger is Da Shaka Burger amongst other delicious burger options. Offering classics like the traditional Smash Burgers and the Cheesiest Burger. Lunch plates offered are Asian inspired such as “Kora In Style” a korean BBQ Pork Belly served along side daily banchan (side dishes) along side local comfort plates like the Loco Moco and a Pork Belly version El Porko Loco”. We chanced upon it as we were looking for a quick meal and my gosh, their burgers were phenomenal and so was the pork belly! Very nice family also & very friendly! I wish we could have taken out some more meals with us going on our way back to Maui but wow, I’m still thinking about that pork belly until now ⭐️

This was pinned for our Kauai trip and as soon as we landed we made it over. We weren’t the only ones waiting for the 4:30 open time! It was worth the hype – we tried the truffle burger (add bacon!) and the Hawaii 5.0 w Shaka Fries. It was SO GOOD. Their service is great and the folks working the truck were so nice. Make sure to stop at this cutie food truck near the airport!

We were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at Kauai and we looked in UberEats for a delicious lunch meal. Shaka Burgers came up. We were excited when we saw the pork belly plates. We ordered two. Food was very fresh and delicious. We totally recommend this place!

The food is made to order, so it’s always hot and delicious.
The patty is thick and juicy. It is as wide as the bun. The bun – I don’t usually eat buns, but this one looked so yummy. It did not disappoint. Oh! The fries are crisp and tasty.
Shaka could easily take over the burger world as a franchise. They are that good.
My husband accidentally found their food truck while we were waiting to catch the train on the plantation . I wasn’t hungry, so he ate it alone. When we got off the train, we headed straight back to get me my own Shaka Bacon Cheeseburger.
We have eaten out multiple times on the island, but this is the first place that I would go back to. I would give them more stars if I could.

The bread was perfectly toasted in butter—flavorful without being greasy. The locally raised, grass-fed beef was fresh and not overly fatty, which I really appreciated. While the burger usually comes with fries, they were happy to substitute a side salad when I asked—thank you! Loved being able to enjoy the meal outdoors in a relaxed setting.

Ate here twice during our stay, amazing burgers. We got the smash burger but the others looked equally great. My wife loves the shaka fries whereas I prefer the regular. Can’t go wrong here, and the prices are great for Hawaii. Not far from the airport either, so get them as you land or before departing the island and you won’t be disappointed!

If you enjoy grass fed burgers, you’ll love these. I’ll admit I’m still on the fence about grass fed beef since it does change the taste, but my husband said it was the best burger on the islands we’ve visited. The owners are friendly, portions are great and price is fair for the quality and the island. We did have to track the truck down when it wasn’t in the location on Google, but once you call the number, they let you know where it is (i.e. Botanical Gardens).

We tried their Hawaii 5-0 and Shaka Fries. Service was very friendly and our food was served quickly. The burger was very good, and we really enjoyed the brioche bun it was served with. The Shaka Fries were incredible though and were the best part of our meal.
