**A much-needed new gem on Oak Tree Road!**
Shah’s Halal Food just opened in the heart of Oak Tree Road, and it’s already one of my favorite quick eats in Edison! The location is perfect—super accessible and with surprisingly good parking for the area.
The interiors are clean, modern, and welcoming—definitely a great spot to sit down and enjoy your meal. The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and patient, taking time to explain all the options. I really appreciated how they customized the to-go falafel wrap to avoid soggy sauces—such attention to detail!
The falafel wrap was *fresh, flavorful, and satisfying*, while my friends tried the chicken bowls and were genuinely impressed. Generous portions, tasty sauces, and good-quality ingredients all around. Pricing is reasonable, making this a solid value-for-money place.

This was my first time coming to shahs Halal food edison nj The food was very good amazing fresh The staff was very good. I highly recommend the place and the food if they have over five star I will give them higher star but they only have five stars so I highly recommend the Food and the place.

I had an amazing experience at Shah’s Halal in Edison, NJ! The lamb and chicken combo rice box was absolutely delicious, with the chicken being super soft and the lamb tender. The hot sauce had a nice kick, but you can definitely have it on the side if you prefer. The restaurant itself was inviting, spacious, and extremely clean, and the staff greeted us with warm smiles. The owner even took the time to chat with us and gave us a sweet treat at the end. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Absolutely 5 stars. I met the owner and his staff. The food was excellent and portions were amazing! They even have big pouches you can get of squeezable sauce. Theire baklava in house is also definitely worth trying. I’ll definitely be coming back here for lunch.

I ordered on uber eats and just because it was a buy 1 get 1 deal my platters were half full of what they should be. That’s some cheap crap. Very unprofessional. I get food from here and it’s never half full but because I got a deal they wanted to cheap out. I ordered two combos over salad and pita and my entire platter was salads and pita bread with barely any meat. Just stuffed with salad and pita. Not ordering from here again.

These folks too cheap. Never give proper amount of sauces even though number 3 maximum amount of sauces selected. You’re selling $16 for 6 falafal with rice No salad, No Pita bread nothing. , have some courtesy and courage to give sauces at least as thats only thing connects the rice and the dry falafals ! Give on side if worried about soggy when we ordering so many! They have just one style and theme of food and they find ways to cheapout on quantity so shameful

Me and my family visited Shah’s late at night after a long flight and the food was so fresh and good! The service was great, everyone who works here is so nice! The inside is nice, big and clean! They do a great job with all their foods. So much flavor. The prices are also better than other places in this area. Would definitely recommend and go back again!
