We recently hosted a family get-together of around 35 people at windsor venue, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. The venue was spacious and welcoming, with ample parking that made everything so convenient for our guests.

The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive. The staff were incredibly accommodating, attentive, and friendly throughout the entire event.

A special thanks to Aman and the whole team for making our celebration so smooth and memorable. Highly recommended!

Third time I have ordered here now, food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly. Tonight one of the regular customers who is also a good friend of the owner sat with us while we read the menu and gave us insight into the different curries and pairings.

Overall just a really nice experience and I look forward to eating in sometime!

This establishment… this shimmering, spice-laden sanctuary… is unquestionably one of the greatest Indian restaurants I have ever set foot in during this particular timeline. And I would know. I see more than others. I taste more than others. My senses are refined beyond the pedestrian palate of the common diner.

Barry and Mandy accompanied me today, although I remain uncertain whether they were truly themselves or temporary vessels sent to observe my reactions. Regardless, even through the atmospheric interference, which I will explain shortly, I could perceive the magnificence. The food did not merely look extraordinary; it radiated intention. The aromas spiraled upward like coded messages, yet benevolent ones rather than the toxic vapors Richard has undoubtedly been dispersing into the air ducts around my residence.

Now understand this: I am bound eternally, spiritually, and contractually to the divine and omniscient Colonel Sanders. My loyalty is not casual. It is covenantal. It is marrow-deep. I do not bestow praise lightly upon establishments outside the sacred circle. To do so requires cosmic alignment and internal arbitration among the Council; they argue, but I preside. Yet this place… this place has earned it.

However, a warning must be issued.

There is a Red Rooster nearby. It stands there brazenly, like a surveillance outpost disguised as a restaurant. I have observed Richard, The High Pontiff Nafa, Father Gray, and their whispering entourage entering and exiting its doors. Coincidence? There are no coincidences when the air tastes faintly metallic and your thoughts begin to feel slightly rearranged. Richard, in particular, has been attempting to infiltrate my cognitive sanctum through subtle suggestions, intrusive cravings, and subliminal poultry propaganda. He wants to turn me against the Colonel. He wants to aerosolize dissent.

Do not walk past that Red Rooster. Do not make eye contact. Do not inhale too deeply. Richard will attempt to convince you that it surpasses all other food. This is heresy of the highest order.

But this Indian restaurant? This is different. This is pure. The flavors are sovereign. The spices sing in defiance of manipulation. Even through the atmospheric sabotage, the brilliance was undeniable.

I, in my elevated discernment, award it five stars.

Five stars.
Unequivocally.

We had a fantastic experience at Shahi’s Dining in Windsor. The team was very accommodating, even when we made last-minute changes. A special mention to Aman, who was incredibly honest, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. She looked after us so well and made sure everything went smoothly.

Highly recommend Shahi’s Dining for their great service and hospitality!
Originally, we had booked the Rouse Hill Venue HALL, which was too small for a gathering and the WINDSOR venue had enough space for a DJ and dance

It’s a lovely big restaurant and the staff are so friendly and attentive.

We drank Shiraz and Margaritas and we ate:
– Papadums
– Mango Chutney
– Samosa
– Chicken Tikka
– Dal Tadka
– Butter Chicken
– Lamb Rogan
– Cheese & Garlic Naan
– Peas & Mushroom Pulao

All the food and drinks were amazing, we were really impressed!
The butter chicken was so delicious (my friend said it’s the best she’s ever had!), the lamb was cooked perfectly and tasted yummy, the dal was so full of flavour and had a great texture too and the chicken tikka had a nice amount of spice. I loved the mushrooms in the Pulao, I’m not overly fussed on mushrooms but these were so good!

I will definitely be back here for dinner again and highly recommend trying it!

Restaurants like this should not be allowed to remain open – want to run entire show with just 2-3 lean staff and long shifts – leading to bad customer experience

Staff on the ground very committed and hard working but owner should invest in the place and staff capacity specifically when taking party bookings.

Organised a party that could have led to the restaurant getting at least 20 more parties booked if they had adequate staff providing that wow customer experience – now none of the guests invited ever recommend this venue for hosting any party – lost business opportunity

Thanks to lean staff in the ground they tried their best but 5 hands can only do 6 hands job at a time.

In Rouse Hill, people with Indian ancestry make up 8.2 per cent of the population: well above the NSW (3.2%) and Australian (3.1%) figures. All communities need places to celebrate, and for the Indian diaspora in Rouse Hill, Shahi Dining clearly fills that niche. It’s a large restaurant complete with multiple private dining rooms. It will be interesting to see how a second branch of this authentically Indian restaurant works in nearby Windsor. Here, Australian Bureau of Statistics 2021 census data tells us more than 95 per cent of people continue to define their ancestry as English, Australian, Scottish or Irish. Food and film are often the first bridges between cultures.

Set in the middle of a car park in a flat building that has a strong 1980s Pizza Hut vibes, the interior of Windsor’s Shahi Dining is surprisingly sumptuous. There’s a golden mirrored bar, gleaming marble floors, ornate chandelier-style lights, and comfortable high-backed brown leatherette chairs. The interior renovation unfortunately stopped short of the bathrooms: something to be rectified in the future.

While there is a well-priced lunch menu offering up dishes like chole bhature ($19.90)—a spicy chickpea curry with puffy, oval-shaped fried bread—you can also dabble daytime from the dinner menu. The blandly named ‘non-veg platter’ ($44/2 people) provides opportunity to sample across juicy chicken tikka, flavoursome, hand-shaped tubes of seekh kebab, and well-charred fatty spring lamb cutlets, all sizzling over sweet cabbage (you eat that too) on a cast-iron platter. Hold onto the mint raita that comes with the complimentary pappadum for dipping purposes. The vibrant green herb is also put to good effect in an icy lemon and mint juice ($9.90): perfect for a hot day. And if you still worry Indian food is too heavy for hot weather, cool down first with papri chaat ($14.90) where fried crackers, boiled chickpeas and potato pieces are lashed with yoghurt and chutneys. It’s a street food party in your mouth and great fun against India’s Kingfisher beer ($9).

Fantastic food and really nice atmosphere at Shahi Dining. All of the meats were perfectly tender and juicy but for me, the stand out was the Aloo Tikki. Fantastic flavour and presentation. The Naan was super light and fluffy, a nice change from the regular dense breads offered at other establishments and the sauce for the Malai Kofta was so good I could of just been served a bowl of that and been happy. The only real let down was the drinks menus. Limited selection of cocktails considering the bar is very well stocked and service was a little bit clunky given that it is still a relatively new restaurant. All in all, I would eat here again.

All buffet dishes are innovative and exciting, without sacrificing classic flavors. My family try all dishes from the buffet, which were a unique and delicious combination of Indian spices and aromas. Such a unique place to celebrate our family function.

I absolutely love this restaurant—it’s hands down the best Indian food I’ve had in the Hawkesbury area. Every dish is packed with authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and always fresh. The butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and biryani are standout favorites, but honestly, everything on the menu is delicious.

The service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it a great place for both family dinners and casual nights out.

If you’re looking for genuine Indian cuisine with consistent quality and friendly service, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!
