Our server was extremely sweet and patient.
And the atmosphere was intimate but not too loud. It did take a while to get seated, but after eating there I can see why it was packed.
1.) Inattentive service (sat at 11:10 trying to get the kids some pancakes and they refused—breakfast ends at 11. But also…it’s just inconsiderate). Also we had to go up the server stand to get any kind of refill.
2.) not good food and prices are double what online says. Cheeseburger is $15. If you’re going to pay $15 for a cheeseburger in broken bow, there are better places. Abendigos burger is $20…just go there. The club sandwich was gross. The hotdog was the same one you could buy at Walmart.
3.) inside smells like a wet dog.
4.) They serve Pepsi products only. Not to be that person but who does this in 2025? Gross.
5.) update. Walked in at 11:10…it is currently 12:10 and we still haven’t been served our food
6.) got our food at 12:20. When asked why it took so long, the waitress said that “ all their food is made fresh, so it takes longer.” The “fresh food”? A hamburger, a kids hotdog and a club sandwich. Club sandwich was American cheese, microwave bacon, sliced ham and some lettuce. Not one of these items is a “fresh” food item requiring an hour of prep.
7.) $43 for a hamburger, a club sandwich (so gross), and a kids hotdog.
TLDR: This place is an absolute joke and I think they buy positive reviews
The food is delicious, great prices, and the pancakes are huge!! I highly recommend the hot chocolate if the weather’s right for it.
Not a good experience.
We stopped in to grab some breakfast after spending a few nights in town. The place was a little crowded but we got seated pretty quickly. A few minutes after we arrived however it seemed like everyone in town showed up. You might want to get there before the mid-morning rush arrives if you’re going for breakfast.
The menu was simple but offered a lot of options and the food was delicious. Their pancakes are absolutely gigantic and they taste amazing. Honestly they are more like a cake than a pancake. Nothing our party ordered was disappointing!
In spite of the crowd, the service was spot on and our waitress seemed to move effortlessly between all of the tables she was working. My drink was never empty and all of our needs were taken care of promptly.
Great prices and good food combined with exceptional service means we will definitely be going back!
