You get what you pay for and the food never disappoints and is always delicious, wide variety of food with great views and friendly people. Tiffany and Justin always do a great job running this seasonal restaurant & bar. Bartenders are always the best. Live music and pool tables are a nice addition! Hope to get to visit again!

We ate outside at the restaurant, and we had the most beautiful view of the lake. The food and service was great too! They have beer but no liquor, that was ok though. Still a good meal, and a little fun while watching karaoke too.

Shady Cove Resort and Marina should be 5 stars from everyone that has stayed or stays at the campground. The staff at Shady Cove go over and beyond to assist and help everyone. The friends I have met at the campground are amazing! Immediately as I pulled in, several people welcomed us and helped us get backed in a very tight spot. The Tiki Bar is wonderful with karaoke and live music, very nice pool, and a wonderful restaurant and staff that are amazing. I would give 10 stars but only five are available.
I recommend Shady Cove Resort. Marina to anyone looking for a long term stay or just a weekend! Great place and even better people!

My wife and I were looking forward to trying them out. Unfortunately, it was not a good night for the kitchen staff. Catfish was undercooked and not crispy. The fried oysters were the kind that come out of a frozen pack and dropped in grease. Hand breading would work much better for the oysters.
Tea was good. The view was beautiful though. Wish the food matched. This place could be great, with a new attitude about food quality.

This is a great place to fish and view the birds and scenery. The restaurants there it’s quite good mostly home-cooked dishes and Ruby runs the place and she’s the nicest Southern woman you could ever meet. There are many campers and boat slips available that’s really reasonable rates and also rent thier small cabin. On Friday and Saturdays they have live music and outside Cantina which is a great time if you’re not going out from your water adventures

The park is directly on the lake so if you like the water then you will love this park. However, most spots are pretty close to one another and the park seems to be primarily long term stays. The grounds need some work and there were several run down units on site as well. The location is very quiet, sites seem to be level.
