I had the catfish and shrimp with a baked potato. When you are seated your served immediately with a pickle plate, bowel of coleslaw, bowel of brown beans, and a bowel of huspuppies. The coleslaw was fresh and had a nice crunch I added pepper to it. The beans didnt last long they were delicious! The hushpuppies were fresh and hot with a good crunch. The catfish and shrimp were very good the baked potato was cooked well, I do wish they served it with cheese. . I think my only criticism would be a few of my shrimp werent very warm but were cooked thru. They had a live acoustic guitar player singing so all in all I enjoyed my time as well as my meal. I would recommend you get there before the crowd though this place fills up fast.

Oh my goodness! The catfish was amazing!! We came into town to see our elders and wanted some catfish. Couldn’t have picked a better place. Called in our order and was greated with friendly helpful service. Sweet home-style restaurant. Even had live music Catfish, hushpuppies French fries and the best pinto beans! The gentleman who cashed us out was so kind.

Great meal. Great people. The beans and slaw and baked potatoes hit the spot. It was worth going there for the hush puppies. Sadly, the catfish was not the star of the meal as it was nothing but breading.

The best catfish, frog legs, shrimp and chicken I’ve ever tasted. The steak was amazing too. Loved this place. It’s a new family favorite for sure.

Always love the food and the service but the music is way too loud. Had family in from out of town and couldn’t speak with them for having to raise our voices very loudly. And it was the same with our server, had to yell to be heard. I have been eating there for years and never needed live music for entertainment.

Food was good, service was outstanding but it was a bit noisy for my taste. Basically a small country restaurant without any frills. If you like country cooking you will like this place.

Great atmosphere, great food! The “set up” comes out shortly after you’re seated, which is included with your meal price, and consists of beans, coleslaw, pickels, onion, hush puppies, and tomato relish. The catfish dinner is always all you can eat. You can upgrade other meals to all you can eat as well for a upcharge. Fries are homemade style. My favorite is the chicken strips, but that’s just because chicken is my favorite in general. My dad loves the frog legs and the catfish. Waitresses work hard and are always friendly, so are the owners.

The food is amazing! However, it is very loud and the last time we went I had to ask multiple times for a few things and my glass was never refilled. That’s the only time we’ve had an issue with the waitresses and the first time we had that certain one. IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH TRYING!
