Amazing pizza made with love! I really dig this funky place and their wood-fired pizza! Visited for dinner on a Thursday night. We had some tasty Brussel Sprouts, and Caprese salad before diving into a BBQ Chick pie. All of the food was well prepared. Staff was cheerful and patient with my mother who is hard of hearing. Definitely will be back! Note that the seating is outdoor, so plan accordingly. On a cool evening, the deck was truly delightful, although the music was a little too loud for comfortable conversation.

I have picked up to-go pepperoni pizza from here for the last year, since I moved within a couple of blocks of Shadrach’s. I picked a pizza up on 12/19/25 and it was burnt on the bottom but undercooked on the top. That indicates they weren’t keeping to oven clean of cornmeal or whatever they use to keep the pizza from sticking to the oven’s cooking hearth. I took a photo to show the staff the next time I would come back by. I came back today, just shy of three weeks, and I was going to order a pizza but they weren’t open yet. I decided to talk to the girl that was at the bar and I showed her the pizza photograph that I took. Her attitude and smart ass remarks gets the one star review. She had to ask what time Shadrach’s opens every day, so I don’t think she knew much about her new job or the pizza business. I won’t go into details but I did explain that I come to Shadrach’s every couple of weeks, I always order the same thing so I know the food that is normally served there. She basically lost my business. I’ll go down the street.

Shadrach’s Fiery Furnace was one of the BEST decisions that my husband and I made for our wedding. The communication was stellar from start to finish. The accommodations for dietary limitations were unlike many other catering companies in the area. They never failed to suggest an idea to adapt to our budget and dietary needs. This business made us feel like we were part of a family from our first tasting to our wedding. Our guests could not stop raving about the quality of the appetizers and pizzas as well as the catering staff. They worked seamlessly with other vendors, the venue staff, and made our guests fall in love with them the way we did almost a year prior to picking our wedding date. My husband and I knew we wanted to support local businesses in the area of our wedding venue, and we couldn’t have picked a better addition to our wedding day. We promised each other to be back yearly to for our anniversary!

If you’re on the fence, DO IT! THEY WERE AMAZING!

First time here. Was with a group of four adults and one toddler and sat at one of the picnic tables.

Every item we ordered was very tasty and better than expected, notably the BBQ chicken pizza, caesar salad, and bbq meatballs. The other people we were with ordered the goat cheese spinach pizza and enjoyed it. This place also had a high chair which I believe is available to anyone that eats at any of the restaurants in this food court area.

I’d say the only downside was that I had to wait in line for ~10 min to cash out and get to-go boxes. But that is not by any means a knock on the staff as they were hustling and awesome the entire time. They were simply very busy and maybe understaffed by one person.

Great pizza, thin, and cook very well and fast. Personal size but is enough for two people. The patio tables are a great spot. To place the order needs to be at the bar. The only con is need a little better cleaning at the tables when the customers leave the tables. 2 or 3 draft beer selections and cans. The rest of the cocktails are in cans too.

While visiting Mount Dora this little gem was recommended to my husband and I by a local. The pizza was absolutely fabulous! We ordered one margarita and one plain pizza. Crust was perfect. Loved the atmosphere of the outdoor seating. The only down side was when we initially came up to the bar where you order. Before we could finish looking at the menu we were urged to get a takeout menu and look around at some other places to eat as well. We reiterated that we wanted to order. It was odd. However, after we sat down and ordered, everything was fine.

Shadrach’s is attached to the outdoor portion of a little shared food court in downtown Mt. Dora. The immediate outdoor area has tables and chairs and fire furnace for the food, but there are also some indoor tables for the shared food stall area use.

The pizza is made fresh, “individual sized” which could easily be shared between two people. It came out quickly, with self service plates and napkins, don’t expect a waiter/waitress to check up on you. You order at the register, take a number and collect your table settings much like a fast food restaurant.

I found it a bit pricey, and personally didn’t feel that the quality/quantity of the food and/ingredients matched that price. The bottom crust was thin but not crispy, the actual crust was dry, and the sauce tasted bland. It sure looks good in photos though!

The cheesy garlic bread & homemade marinara were delicious. We got a pepperoni & meatball pizza & a bacon, ham, pepperoni & slice fresh mozzarella were also very delicious. Highly recommend if you like brick fire pizza. Music & service were great too.
