We went here around lunchtime and it was kind of empty which was nice. The food was good, I feel like it could have been a little warmer or fresher but it was still pretty tasty. I had a bowl with a side of chips. Our checkout process was pretty smooth and the person helping us out was nice. We had a good lunch.

Food was great, any other normal Mexican food tastes like this! Service although was a zero. This was because I encountered a lazy worker. If you encounter a red haired man who has an ice pack on his neck-walk out. This worker had no anticipation to be there. He was rude, lazy, and would not listen to what I want. He took the money from my hand without telling me the total first. Who does that? Although this worker was annoying, the atmosphere was amazing with clean tables, clean soda area, and an overall welcoming environment.

The food was delicious and was definitely remade very hour! Also the area was clean and smelt fresh. The only problem was a worker, he was rude, lazy, and disrespectful with service. He lacked any emotion in his voice like he didn’t even seem to want to be there. He didn’t even put on parts of food when you asked. Even if he wasn’t having a good day or tired didn’t mean he had to give any attitude to me and my family.

As we were driving by Manitowoc we wanted to stop for dinner and noticed the colorful reviews of this restaurant. We committed to stopping and agreed to post good or bad as we never play food critic and thought the adventure sounded fun. As we arrived the restaurant was nearly empty on a 6pm on a Monday. We were immediately greeted with a smile and pleasant greeting and willingness to help when we were ready. Dispelling other reviews we saw no one who looked high or couldn’t form a sentence. We were served immediately and we all ordered variations of burrito bowls and the only complaint was that the sour cream ran out on one and was a little light. The gentleman who checked us out was efficient although no smile. He dressed a bit like a beer distributor with a Bud hat and Corona shirt versus the uniform everyone else was wearing. The general cleanliness was OK although sitting across from the soda machine and condiment counter they could definitely use a sweep underneath. In fairness you wouldn’t see it unless you were seated. One of our party did use the restroom and suggested it looked like it could use a cleaning. Overall, no major issues and not as bad as we feared after reading the reviews. I will update the post if we experience any I’ll effects on the remainder of our drive.

I’m a frequent Qdoba visitor..the food it’s self is great and plenty of a variety to pick from. The quantity… that’s another story. Even when asking for more of a particular ingredient….. it’s barely enough. There was a You Tuber who went to Qdoba and tested the theory out… he recorded the people making his food and got plenty of it… when he didn’t record them.. he got a lot less. I’m playing with the idea of trying that out and see what happens. It shouldn’t matter… it should be the same amount regardless if it’s being recorded or not. The dining area could use some cleaning…. it’s not uncommon for garbage and food to be seeing on the floor. I’ve never seen the place super busy so there’s really no reason for it.
