My life’s WORST food ever! All we ordered was butter chicken, naan and raita after our rude server had no dishes to recommend for his restaurant. Simple items especially for Indian restaurants in London. The butter chicken was undercooked, its gravy was curdled and watery in the bad way and tasted horrible, I wanted to throw up after my first bite. Chicken was tasteless and tough. Then I thought maybe I can just eat the naan… but even that was undercooked in some areas. Then lastly I came to the raita, which again is the simplest thing to make , however they found a way to screw that up too, the onions in the raita tasted old, no salt and no pepper in it either. So I asked one of their waiters to get me some black pepper powder. THE WAITER DID NOT KNOW WHAT the World Famous Black Pepper powder is , I even asked him for it in Hindi and he went to the owner/ manager of the restaurant to ask for it and came back saying that their restaurant Doesn’t have BLACK PEPPER Powder!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable! My life’s first restaurant that is making food without black pepper! No wonder why they don’t know how to cook.

Absolutely rude service, horrible food and just a disappointing experience. If you are looking for real Indian food, then, save your money, time and mood and go somewhere else.

We left all our food unconsumed and paid the bill ( found a 12% service charge automatically added on it) and just left this horrible place.
I only took couple of photos at the end to add to this review for others to see and avoid this place, therefore sharing them here.

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when ambition calls in sick and the menu is written out of spite, congratulations—you’ve found the place.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the unmistakable aroma of “we tried.”
The service was… efficient, in the sense that time absolutely did pass. Our server disappeared so thoroughly I briefly considered filing a missing persons report, only to have them reappear just in time with the wrong order. A bold, interactive dining experience.
Now the food, My dish arrived lukewarm, creatively under-seasoned, and presented in a way that said, You’ll eat this and you’ll be quiet.
Portions were generous if you’re on a diet of disappointment, and prices were ambitious, clearly aiming for a restaurant in a much better timeline.
In summary: if you’re looking for a place to take someone you mildly resent, or you need a reminder that cooking at home is a blessing, this restaurant delivers. I will not be returning—but I will be telling this story.

I visited this restaurant hoping to enjoy a nice Indian meal, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
From the very beginning, I did not like the way the manager spoke to us. We had just sat down at our table for barely two minutes when we were already being asked to order drinks. We politely asked the waiter to give us about five minutes, as we had only just arrived. However, less than a minute later, the manager came back again pushing us to buy drinks, making it feel like we were obligated to order them rather than being given time to settle in and look at the menu. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary.
Throughout the meal, we felt poorly treated compared to other customers. There was a clear lack of care and professionalism. We genuinely felt like we were the only ones being treated this way.
After we finished our dinner and were just putting on our jackets to use lavatory, the manager rudely told us to sit back down at the table and pay the bill , including a service charge. It felt as though they assumed we were trying to leave without paying, which was both embarrassing and disrespectful. There was no apology or explanation.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The food was overshadowed by the manager’s attitude and the uncomfortable atmosphere. Good customer service is just as important as good food, and sadly, this restaurant failed in that regard. I would not recommend anyone to visit.

It was a lovely evening, we were able to have a long chat whilst eating absolutely delicious food. I’m gluten, dairy and soya intolerant and the staff were able to recommend several great options to choose from. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back. Thank you!

Great restaurant by the tower bridge. I had dinner here twice in a row and it was good but time, but the lamb shank I had the first time was outstanding. The service was very good and it did not take long to get the food. As far as prices go, it is not cheap at all, especially the drinks which i thought were overpriced. I still recommend it though.

Beware – this restaurant purposely over charged and took advantage of our group whilst enjoying a meal out on a Saturday evening. I have since found similar reviews from other people which back this up. Myself and four others visited and were charged £250 when we had ordered what we think was less than £150 worth of food and drink. Avoid at all costs if you wish to deal with honest people. The food was good and tasty and but these people are clearly in some kind of financial trouble it seems as they have resorted to ripping off working people. Do yourself a favour and find a proper Indian restaurant where you are safe from theft.
