We dined here this morning and everything was wonderful! From the beginning, our server, Amy, was very pleasant and helpful. She answered several questions we had with a smile. I ended up getting the Huevo Ranchero, and it was delicious. The mimosas were refreshing as well. We will definitely be back!

Love a good breakfast and since we were close by we stopped here. The number of options was crazy so I took the recommendation from the server. Also ordered a pancake and some French toast. French toast was the better of the two but both were great. Pancake was huge! Wife ordered biscuits and gravy which was really good too.

I’m not exactly sure where you could go wrong with this place. Even on a bad day, The Shack manages to get you just what’s right in a reasonable time. The atmosphere is charming and pleasant, especially with the ability to draw on the wall making it a fun experience for both couples, children, and anybody who wants to leave their mark. The food is always great, with a good selection of options on the menu. The food is perfect every time, and you get exactly what you paid for. You get in, eat the breakfast you’ve been thinking about for the past week, and get out feeling satisfied. Is that not all you could ask for from a brunch restaurant?

I almost had to give this place a 3 star rating until the tall guy Isaac or Isayah came by and completely wowed my entire group. We knew it was busy that day but came over and introduced himself and assured us that the food would be worth the wait and holy smokes he did not disappoint us! We are from Ohio and visited the Shack in Overland Park while visiting our son and his family. It was our second time there and just like the first time, the food was outstanding, as was our server, Amy A. She made excellent food recommendations, was extremely personable and efficient. My only complaint is that we don’t have a Shack near my home. Looking forward to going back on our next trip to KC!

Amy was our server. She was fantastic. Rahim, a man in our party, was trying to order breakfast and was having trouble deciding what to get. He cannot eat pork and Amy was walking him through all his possible choices. In a matter of a few minutes he decided what to get and we were all set. Amy’s patience and help were great in helping Rahim decide. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Thanks Amy!

Sat down at the table which is sticky and disgusting. Then I look at the floor disgusting. Then we wait 20mins to order, 30 mins to get my food. I look at my food the waffle is overcooked, the chicken doesn’t even look like real chicken. It was a puck that definitely came out of the freezer. McDonald chicken nuggets would be of higher quality. Then I wait 30min to get my check. This place if awful. Stay far away.

Our server Amy was an absolute delight. I’ve been here a number of times and she was BY FAR the best server I’ve had. The food was awesome, the drinks kept coming, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Ask for Amy if you can, and be ready for a fabulous dining experience.

In terms of pricing wise (between $10-15 per entree), I’d say reasonable for the portions provided. The decor of the place is also cute as it does play into the whole barn farm vibes. The only thing I don’t like that much is how salty the food can be. Otherwise, friendly staff n reasonable service times.
