Every time I go to Bayfield going to Sgt. P’s is an absolute must! Some of the best pizza I have ever had. Staff is always friendly and even gave my dad a nickname cuz of frequent we go. If you are a local or tourist, this is the place to eat in Bayfield!

Stopped here in Sept 2023, the place itself is carry out or delivery, BUT you can go next door to Greunke’s Inn and order their pizza for dine in. I loved the word play with the Beatles SGT. Pepper, so we had to try it. Was not disappointed

I guess you get what you pay for here (based on the Google$ signs). I spent $20 on a small “Summer Special” not only do they use canned ingredients such as their mushrooms, but they leave you waiting on their front steps after their pizza has been made for 20 minutes instead of bring it out to you. Apparently they don’t care if they stay if you stay at their lodging, no discount and no better service.
I guess it serves as a good reminder not to tip in advance for service!

Delicious pizza!!! The crust was consistent with the crunch to chewy ratio. There was the perfect amount of cheese, toppings and sauce. I was very happy with the staff experience and the food. Great place to stop in.

We ended up ordering a pizza to go because Greunke’s was closed and the other nearby restaurants had an hour wait. We were happy to have a hot meal ready within 20 minutes!
We got a sausage and onion pizza and it was good!

Pizza was very good, an excellent value and plenty of toppings. They make the dough and sauce there. Pizza was baked quickly and service was fine.

Ordered takeout pizza from here and it was wonderful. Hot and fresh and good prices too. Very tasty thin crust! I only wish they were open year round. Of all the pizza I have had in town, this place is hands down the best and tends to even be a little cheaper than others. We always look forward to when they re open for the year.

Tiny place, a little strange but the pizza was great. Got a pep and sausage jumbo for 4. Seemed like a lot at first but after a few drinks this pizza was just as awesome the second time around. Awesome flavor. Only thing that would be cooler is if they had garlic bread or bread sticks or something.

This review is not for the pizza or service it’s about the fact that they make no effort to change their hours of operation on Google (which is super easy to do). We were in town for a cruise and were planning pizza here after a googling pizza around. After walking 3 blocks we were welcomed with a locked door and no one in sight when their hours of operation showed open 2-9…this was at 3:15. Just make a little effort! : (
