Our friend recommended this for sourdough and qouign amann. We got there about 815 am. After deciding on an almond croissant, ham and cheese croissant, a sourdough baguette and a simple morning bun with coffee, we proceeded to try a sampling of each. Yum. The right balance of crunch and sweet and butter. My husband hoped they would toast the bread a little and the quiche would have been a nice variety but they don’t have the heating capability. They also have just drip coffee. Service was nice, and efficient. My favorite was the quoign amann, you can easily split up the layers should you chooae to savor it.

Cute little bakery with some tasty baked goods and bread. The staff were friendly and attentive. There is seating inside and outside of this shopping center. I would recommend sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. The only downside was they only have a drip coffee option, but they do have oat milk.

Solid bakery shop in the area. I got the almond chocolate croissant and it is delicious. I wish there are almond paste inside the croissant rather than just on the top. Still it is a legit croissant that satisfies your buttery and chocolatey desire. Other items look good too but I haven’t tried them yet.

The almond croissant was okay. The croissant itself was decent, it was French style flaky and structurally sound but there was one massive air pocket between the top and bottom pieces. The frangipane tasted like they added hazelnut or something which I didn’t particularly like.
The cinnamon roll was also okay. The roll itself was good, not served warm though. The cream cheese ratio was too much for me and also sort of sickishly sweet and thick.
That being said, I’d still come back to try their other pastries, I just wouldn’t order those two again.

I always get the best Bread loads here before a big family dinner. They had that feeling of old world selection of choices in breads. I love the olive loaf. The pastries are also very good. I’m sure you will find something here to make you happy even late at night.

Seven Hills Baking Co is the premier for world class, scratch made baked goods, led by an award winning chef. This bakery is defined by its dedication to traditional techniques and high quality ingredients.
You must try their signature Sourdough Loaves, which are praised for their crispy crust and are even used in their sourdough cookies. Their laminated pastries are equally impressive, particularly the rich, flaky butter croissant and Kouign Amann.

Omg… These are some of the best cookies in the entire Bay Area!! Amazing cookies, had me visit twice in one week. They ran out of oatmeal raisin and the manager offered me a ginger cookie and gave me an extra for free! Incredible service also! They truly care about the customer. 10/10 Hidden gem bakery ❤️ ️

Sorry I don’t have photos, and I almost hesitate to mention my favorite treat from Seven Hills Baking Co., because I hate showing up and finding out it’s all sold out . . . but I will mumble the name (chocolate espresso cookie), which is to die for. But then there’s the triple ginger cookie, and the best bran muffin I’ve ever had, and some very tasty quiches I grab for quick breakfasts, and a croissant that actually demonstrated to me what a croissant was really supposed to taste like. And I love to buy a ciabattina or two for morning butter toast or individual garlic breads with pasta or a really nice sandwich,.
It is such a delight to have this small bakery in the Marketplace — I feel so very European as I drift from vendor to vendor to pick one of those and two of these, and a little bag of that. And Seven Hills Baking is always my last stop, so I can rush home and indulge my sweet tooth in happy privacy.

By FAR the best croissant I’ve had the pleasure of eating. The layers are distinct and maintain their integrity even after taking several bites. The first few flake, and snap as you bite down, giving you just a taste of the buttery flavor you always hope for but don’t always get from other bakeries. The many many other layers are firm but tender, giving a satisfying chew to each bite.
I got the chocolate almond croissant, which I could not recommend more. The quality chocolate used provides a smooth rich flavor addition on its own, but the almond paste gives it a further complexity and aromatic quality that takes it up another level.
I’m excited to return and try some of their other baked goods. I have high expectations after the first impression!
