What a beautiful gem in Atlantic City! My family had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday here recently. Our waiter Edwin was phenomenal! He shared the history of the restaurant, was attentive, and had great food suggestions for us! The table favorites were the chicken kabobs and cajun salmon. We will be back!

If in Atlantic city, this place is a must. The food is delicious. I would recommend to try only Afghani food. Everything we ordered was outstanding. For drink we ordered watermelon juice and it was fresh <3. The ambience is lovely. I am taking out a star just because the server didn’t do a good job.

This was such a special GEM, here in Atlantic city. Very unique atmosphère, with absolutely amazing food. Even though they were short of one of thier soups du jour, they easily acommodated by giving extra deserts.

One of my favorite places in Atlantic City! Hamid, our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Setaara. The food is amazing with an Afghan menu and a French menu so there is something to satisfy the more adventurous or the milder palate. The atmosphere is a hidden gem in AC – the enclosed outdoor patio is spectacular!

I love this place! This was our first experience here and it will definitely not be our last! The atmosphere is adorable! It’s very intimate…the restaurant is small, but gives you enough room to not feel smothered. The place is beautifully decorated. The waiter was very informative and gave us great suggestions for dinner. We went as an early new year’s celebration. Everything from the bread, soup, appetizers, and dinners were delicious! Very fresh ingredients, food came out hot, and was very flavorful. They have separate waiters walking around at all times to meet any needs you have. Everyone had a pleasant attitude and was very welcoming and not to mention there was live music. Lovely place and definitely worth the price tag!

Such a unique place to eat, I loved it! My party of 7 had a few hiccups and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and offered a variety of cuisines to try and explore! My only regret is I didn’t get the mint tea after dinner!

Hamid was the epitome of hospitality. He walked us through the menu and made us feel like we were long time friends coming over for dinner. The restaurant was warm and welcoming and the food was divine from the first bite through the last. This is a family establishment and they work well together to bring their vision to life. We will be back again soon.

I am such a fan of Setaara, but an even bigger fan of Hamid! He made our experience extra special. This was my boyfriend’s first time eating Afghani food and Hamid was the perfect introduction. He was so kind, funny and personable. The French onion soup was some of the best I’ve ever had – I just wish it had more cheese around the rim of the crock, but that’s personal choice. The chicken kabab was insanely flavorful and you can’t go wrong with firni for dessert! We will be back. We can’t wait to see our favorite waiter, Hamid, and dine in the beautiful courtyard they are creating.

It is a French Afghan restaurant. This place is absolutely gorgeous. It is beautiful with a very unique and varied interior for dining. I had a private little room and loved it. The food was absolutely delicious. The portions are large. Even the tea is absolutely over the top. You are welcomed upon arrival. The staff is wonderful and go out of their way to make your dining experience perfect and memorable. My waitress Rachel really went out of her way to make sure that everything was to my liking. I am glad they participated in AC Restaurant Week. Thank you for that. I loved the escargot, the Mantu ,and cardamom tea and house vanilla ice cream with cardamom. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Gorgeous and authentic Afghani French cuisine. From the moment you walk in through the gorgeous aesthetic doors, the beauty of the place grasps your attention. We were seated in a beautiful cubicle with a live musician by us. He was amazIng with his guitar. The starters’ chicken lemon homemade soup was so good. The chicken tikka kebabs and the kofta chalau was delicious. The homemade ice cream and baklava was an excellent finish to the evening. We are in love with the mystic cortilla they have outdoors. Anyone visiting AC must try this place.
