If you’re a chocolate enthusiast in or visiting Wisconsin, a stop at Seroogy’s is an absolute must. This charming store specializes in small-batch chocolates, and their dedication to quality truly shines through.
During my recent visit, I was immediately drawn to their impressive selection of milk and dark chocolate-covered treats. From luscious caramels and perfectly dipped nuts to chocolate covered raisins, the variety was tempting. I ended up purchasing a box of assorted dark chocolates and another of their soft centers, along with some irresistible chocolate covered jumbo peanuts and a decadent jumbo pecan snapper. Not forgetting their signature chocolate melt away!
The quality of the chocolate itself was outstanding. The dark chocolate had a rich, deep flavor without being bitter, and the milk chocolate was smooth and creamy. Each piece I tried was clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. The soft centers were particularly delightful, offering a wonderful variety of textures and flavors. The jumbo peanuts and pecan snapper were generously sized and provided that perfect salty-sweet crunch. And the melt away? Simply divine – a truly melt-in-your-mouth experience.
One of the highlights of my visit was the availability of free samples in front of the chocolate case. It’s a fantastic way to taste their offerings before committing to a purchase, and it certainly helped me narrow down my choices!
Beyond the incredible chocolates, Seroogy’s also boasts a lovely gift shop area featuring local Wisconsin merchandise, including items for local sports teams. It’s a nice touch and adds to the store’s local charm. They even offer coffee and hot chocolate, making it a perfect spot for a sweet treat and a warm beverage.
The atmosphere of Seroogy’s was welcoming, and the service was friendly. It felt like a true local institution, and the passion for chocolate was evident.

Seroogy’s is a local staple, and having the Ashwaubenon storefront in addition to the historic De Pere location has proven to be very convenient for me many times. It’s a nice way to treat myself or let someone know I’m thinking about them or want to celebrate them. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t spend a little too much time or money on so many delicious treats here over the years!

Who can leave a bad review on Seroogy’s? Not I! Your chocolate is delicious. Your creamy texture and rich flavor have always been my favorite. I love that you still offer a free sample. With traveling, I couldn’t get much, so the candy bars are a perfect size. I am sharing with friends in TN. I have looked at ordering online, living in TN, but your shipping cost is too high for me.

I love this place. Not just to buy chocolates, meltaways specifically, but to browse the coffees & other things they sell there. They have pretty coffee mugs and gift-type items, along with small toys & souvenirs. I even enjoy looking at the greeting cards when I’m going to need one of those. I would never call it inexpensive, but certainly worth it for the quality you get.
