Came for brunch on a Saturday, was very busy so recommend booking. I had the halloumi shakshouka which was delicious and definitely didn’t skimp on the halloumi! Would’ve been nice to have a bit more veg in it as it was mostly sauce. My friend got the vegan croissant roll which was nice but think a bit overpriced for what it is.
Service was a bit all over the place. Our first waiter seemed pretty checked out, I double checked if he had written down halloumi with my order and he hadn’t and my friend got the regular roll instead of the vegan one. He didn’t seem to be listening at all.
The waitress who brought our food out was lovely though and couldn’t have been more apologetic about the mix up with the roll, and discounted our food.

Good strong coffee, great brunch/lunch options and some delightful treats. The superfood salad was excellent, very tasty, and we had an incredible white chocolate mousse! Nice big window and a mezzanine level with plenty of tables. The team was nice and friendly, we’d definitely go back.

Delicious sandwiches!
I’ve ordered the honey chicken sandwich and it’s massive, cheesy and delicious!
My friend ordered the poutine sandwich and looks banging, absolutely loaded and it came with a dip as well!
10/10 super delicious, totally recommend the sandwiches.
I’ve also tried the HongKong style French toast. It’s super thick and the portion is huge. But it did get a bit dry and sweet at the end, I think it’s better for sharing tbh. 7/10
The Scottish breakfast here is decent, as well as their desserts. The Dulce de leche Oreo cheesecake is amazing, I would recommend.
Nice hot chocolate, alright matcha latte.
They have a big menu with lots of varieties. It does get pretty busy and they don’t have a lot of seatings. Reasonable price.
Friendly service, however the second time I went, maybe cuz it’s busy, we felt being rushed, they were constantly checking if we finished our food.

Tried Serendipity for the first time and went for the steak croissant roll, £12.50. Been looking to come here for a while for the croissant rolls.
I really enjoyed this one! A class brunch imo. The tarragon butter was incredible a rich and a unique flavour you don’t see often. The steak was cooked perfectly but had a few bits of gristle in there.
With the runny yolk, hollandaise, butter and oil from the hash brown, it made the croissant quite soggy. It was definitely a messy one! If you order this, defo use a fork and knife.
The hash brown and hollandaise both got a bit lost in it all, but the quality of the ingredients and overall execution was still very impressive. Great value for such a high standard.

Came here for brunch. It was quiet on Friday afternoon. Had the Chorizo skillet which was delicious. The food was quick to serve. Cloudy lemonade was also tasty. Service was lovely. Highly recommend for brunch. Will come again

Poped in such a good place for brunch after having found most of other cafes full at that time. Satisfied with the food, especially Eggs Benedict, the combination of sauce and other materials was pretty good.

I popped into the cafe with my partner and friend yesterday for a quick bite. We were instantly met by an incredibly lovely waitress who ushered us in whilst carrying a tray full of glasses! We have never experienced such excellent customer service, the woman who served us handled all of our orders with ease and created such a positive, welcoming energy. We truly felt we were at home! It was due to this server that we had such an exceptional experience.
The food was also excellent, we had a hot honey chicken sandwich, avodaco and eggson sourdough and steak on sourdough. Our hot chocolates were also superb!
Thanks again for the great experience, we will definitely be back soon.

I had my eye on Serendipity West for a while and chose it for my birthday brunch. We were lucky to get a table straight away as it was busy and were seated by the amazing cake display which had me looking forward to our meal. I went for the Hong Kong pancakes with pecan and banana and my partner had the hot honey chicken sandwich. My daughter had a small plate of french toast bites with dulce de leche. Whilst my partners sandwich was insane, my french toast was dry as a bone. The knife wouldn’t even go through the edges of the bread. I managed to eat the inside part but the bread had no flavour. The bacon was delicious and I used my daughter’s maple syrup to moisten the bread a little. The bites were soaked in syrup so my daughter found them too sweet and didn’t eat much.
The server noticed I had only eaten through the bread and asked if it was dry. 10% was taken off the bill.
Having read reviews it seems the dryness of the french toast has been an ongoing issue so ashame I was left disappointed when I had so looked forward to dining there.
The staff were all friendly and the coffee is great! Plenty more on the menu I’d try but at the price, I’ll stear clear of the french toast.

I had been wanting to try out this spot for a while and decided to take my friends here on a weekday after one of our exams. We initially sat outside, where we were served water very quickly. Around 15 mins after they took our order, and then we waited…. And waited… so long that tables inside started to clear so we eventually moved inside were we waited…. And eventually our food was served cold and burnt:) this is what I ordered: the chipotle bbq “pancakes”. I have worked in hospitality for three years and would have never served a dish like this, let alone a WHOLE table.
I understand they might have been having a bad day but each of us paid at least 13£ for burnt, cold food and a glass of water. Sadly would not recommend and will not return.
