OMG. Hands down the best hoagie I’ve ever had. I ordered The Italiano and it was mouth-watering perfection. It was made in 2–3 minutes, which honestly blew my mind, and I could barely wait to get home to take my first bite.

Every bite was absolutely flooded with flavor. I got the half size and it was perfect for me. The day before, I tried their pizza and it was very good too — but the hoagie? Next-level.

I can’t wait to come back to Victoria specifically for this place’s food. Everything on the menu looks amazing. Please, please open a location in Vancouver, BC!

Wow, when I first walked into this place, it used to be a taco joint. I discovered that it’s a pizza and hoagie place. Seem very promising so I ordered a lunch special, which was a half hoagie with fries. The fries were super tasty, but after a while, they’re overly crisp, A sandwich came and it was a bit goopy, had way too much sauce, not enough cheese, and it wasn’t balanced. I couldn’t eat it very well and it ended up being a mess with the soaked mushy bread. I suggest they serve the marinara sauce on the side because it just totally ruined my sandwich.

Beverages like beer and pop are reasonably priced. Service is quick and there’s lots to see if you sit at the window counter overlooking Fort Street. I could not stay here long because they have a horrible sound system that only young people could tolerate. The concept is good with an open kitchen, but the interior is harsh and not very friendly. It screams fast food. Despite these little quirks I think it is good value for your money and if you can tolerate the tinny music.

I was asked how my meal was, and I replied that the eggplant was stringy and I could not eat it. She said sorry but nothing was done about it.

Was skeptical coming in at first but the reviews had me interested. We ordered the garlic knots, hot cheeto mozzarella bites, slice of pizza and a half of a philly.

The Pepperoni pizza was freshly made and came out really good with the hot honey.

The garlic knots with sauce were so good. Highly recommend

Philly also was really good. Highly recommend

Hot cheeto mozzarella bites were good, couldnt really taste the hot cheetos and didnt have any kick to them but were nice and stringy when pulled.

I have had Serena’s pizza delivered through Uber and it had arrived hot and perfect. Both times I have had the Sweet Ricotta and it is so good. The hot honey on it is necessary. It is a Philadelphia style – airy, chewy crust with crispy edges. SO GOOD!

I tried this today for the first time I ordered the hot honey pepperoni round pizza. It was $28 which in my opinion is a little bit steep for a pizza of that size. The crust was quite enjoyable. I really like the crust; it was crunchy and The pizza sauce that they use is quite nice. However, I found the toppings are very light. There wasn’t a lot of cheese or pepperoni on it and because it was pepperony( it tended to have a little bit of extra grease, which is understandable. The staff were quite pleasant to deal with very helpful and friendly. That was the best aspect of my experience. I really like pizza; however I will probably go to my regular spot that I enjoy the most but it’s always worth trying a new place. This place definitely has a lot of potential and I would like to go back to try the hoagie. I think that would be a definite win.
Thank you.

Don’t let the high rating and location fool you into thinking it’s just a tourist spot. The high ratings are well-backed by the quality of their food and service.

We got the half Oklahoma Onion Smash, Chicken Parm hoagies and Tallow Fries. The fries were made fresh. Very delicious, filling, and great value. The staff were also friendly 🙂

Grabbed a Philly Cheesesteak and an Eggplant Parm—both Hoagie Deluxed—then caught a bus to Thetis Lake, hiked to the Seymour Hill lookout, and enjoyed a deliciously warm Hoagie (yes, they were still warm). Don’t judge the squished and half-eaten Hoagie in the picture. They were some of the best sandwiches I’ve had… I still think about them!

If you’re wandering around and want a sanga, give them a crack! Also, the bloke who looked after us was super service-focused and couldn’t do enough for us.

Ordered thru Uber eats and received this cold, dry piece of cardboard. Ordered the “white sauce” option with added grilled peppers and prosciutto (which together was about 7 or 8 bucks). I swear there was no sauce at all and the amount of peppers is frankly offensive. Ir was so dry and there was very little cheese. Do better for the price point guys. The Buffalo chicken spring rolls were also just gross. I’m giving two stars because the fries were good and I’ve had a hoagie that was decent in the past.

If you are anywhere on Vancouver Island, Serena’s is worth a stop. don’t let the modest storefront fool you, the food is top-notch and the service is excellent.

We indulged in a slice of Margherita pizza, the Caprese salad, and the cheese knots with rosé sauce. Delicious… And the portions are huge! We could have brought another two friends with us, and still had food left over.

Are those with dietary restrictions, many vegetarian/vegan options available.

If you like frequenting, a family run restaurant where love is served with every dish, this is your place.

Delicious freshly made hoagies and pizza! Have tried 2 different hot and cold ones now and they don’t disappoint! Large portion sizes – you’ll leave satisfied and very full.. And the desserts are the icing on the cake at the end. Make sure to try the brownie ($6)- it’s huge and you’ll either need to share or take some home for later. A must stop at place if you’re downtown. Staff are both friendly and efficient. Good service.
