The food here was delicious; definitely 5 star standard. I am not an expert in Korean cuisine but I imagine this is as authentic it could get. Pam, who is helping the owner, was 5 star herself. They were having staffing issues the night we came and she was so kind to explain the situation and apologize for the service. I hope the owner is able to get more reliable help soon. I recommend this restaurant and would try again. The food was really good!

We took our daughter-in-law who has loved Korean food since she was stationed in South Korea during her time in the Army. She absolutely loved it! She said the flavors were authentic and reminded her of everything she loved about the food in Korea. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and made us feel like family. The owner even gave our young grandson a hug as we left. We had amazing food and even better service! 10/10

This is great Korean American food—what I mean is the japchae and beef soup portions are American size, the beef bulgogi is not full of fat bits like in Korea. I enjoyed slices of lean meat. Ask the owner for traditional desert drink not on the menu called Shiike. It’s home made.

The food was absolutely amazing! The portions are worth the price and if you’re never had Korean food before, this is the spot as they have something for everyone! You can tell that everything is as authentic as you can get and the owner is the sweetest!

This place is definitely a gem in the area! We arrived in the late afternoon, and it was nearly empty. At first, the menu gave me a bit of a fusion (non-authentic) vibe — but I was wrong. It was warm outside, so I took a chance on the cold noodle soup. It’s one of those dishes that can easily go wrong, but they pulled it off well. The cold noodles weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they still deserved an applause. The tofu soup and japchae were both tasty — my family finished every bite. Highly recommend if you’re craving Korean dishes. (For context, I’m from an area with a pretty good Korean food scene!)

Had a delicious dinner here! The owner is so friendly and warm, she immediately makes you feel like family.
My husband loved the Yang Nyum Chicken (basically Korean Fried Chicken) and alllll the sauce it came with. We agreed that the flavor had a lot more depth to it than chain typical Korean fried chicken places.
I really enjoyed my Dolsot Bibimbap with Bulgogi. It kept sizzling and getting tastier by the minute. All the classic accoutrements were delightful!

A little disappointed, I came here a few weeks ago with a friend and tried the haemul jjim dish which we loved and it was made with cabbage and seafood. This time around I ordered it to go and realized there was no cabbage and it was made with bean sprouts once I got home. I personally don’t like bean sprouts and I feel as though it changed the dish’s flavor which I wasn’t expecting when I ordered this. The quality of the seafood is great but I wish there was some consistency with the ingredients. I don’t feel like I can truly enjoy it for the price I paid.

The manager openly yelled at employees the entire time we were there, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. If you choose to eat here, bring more money than you plan on spending. The food is overpriced, and the owner personally comes to the table when it’s time to pay. She distracts you with compliments and jokes, then hands you a bill with unexpected charges added.

In my case, she included a “New Year’s Special” that cost $60 without explaining or clearly disclosing it. I didn’t catch it at the time and ended up paying a $157 bill plus a 20% tip. Once I got home, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had been taken advantage of, so I returned the next day to question the charge.

The owner acted surprised that the $60 had been added and thanked me for coming back. She refunded the $60 in cash from her purse but did not refund the extra tip I had paid because of the inflated total.

Overall, the food is mediocre and absolutely not worth $40 per plate. Between the uncomfortable atmosphere and deceptive billing practices, this place feels like a scam. Save your time and money and dine elsewhere

As soon as we came in, we were warmly welcomed. We ordered take out and everything was so delicious! We ordered the soon du bu, very generous sized tofu soup, with yummy clams and the sides were all generously sized as well. The amount of rice was perfect. We ordered the Korean fried chicken as well, my husband enjoyed it a lot, the packaging was done very well too, the sauce was on the side so the fried chicken could stay crispy on our takeout travel back. 1000/100 would def recommend!
