Let me just say, the reviews from this place MUST be FAKE! There is no way you can have these reviews and are dead and empty on a Tuesday evening in the downtown area. I’m giving Senorita Margarita one star only because the music was good while we sat there. First issue: The waitress/bartender was inexperienced and couldn’t work the machine to tab in our order, it took about 6-7 minutes. The second issue: It was empty on a Tuesday, besides us there were two other guests! They were out of ALOT of basic things like sugar for the rim for our margaritas. Third and the BIGGEST issue was she slid in an “event fee” of 20% and all we ordered was two drinks, fries and three soft tacos. For TWO people we paid $67 at this dry and empty location. When confronted about the fee she didn’t have a good explanation. She stated “Oh I can’t take it off it’s there for like automatic gratuity or whatever.” We will NEVER come back to this place! It is an embarrassment to Mexican food establishments. I truly understand why they had no customers. The food was terrible, drinks very subpar and service was horrible! Do NOT waste your money here and if you do please check your receipt! That lady had no idea what she was doing. Smh!

Not sure what all the 5 star reviews are about. This place is TRASH. Hot, fan blowing, mildly dirty. We stuck it out because of all the positive reviews. Should’ve trusted our gut and left upon arrival.
Queso dip… Tasted microwaved from a jar.
Street tacos… Dry, flavorless, no sauce, no sides.
Hard tacos… They were out of ground beef at 530pm on a Saturday.
Margaritas… Served from a clear glass cooler (when were they made?) into a glass with a few ice cubes, no salt, no flavor.
This shitty meal for two cost nearly $60!
There are so many good Mexican places in downturn KC. Save your time and palette and go to another (like Ponaks).

The bartender was super sweet. I felt bad because she was the only one in the whole restaurant except the chef. She said she’s only been here 3 months and it’s her first time working in the industry. I’m a server, I get the stress. From my perspective, she deserved more help. From a manager or another server. She’s been running back and forth with a smile on her face. Not to mention it’s 5:30 and her coworker hasn’t shown up yet and she was supposed to leave at 5:30. For her first time bartending she made a great margarita and the hard shell tacos hit the spot. Not a lot of Mexican restaurants make homemade salsa, theirs was great!

Loved this restaurant — we came in with a big group (no reservation) and got seated super quick. Vibes were amazing and food came out quick and was so good! Our server, Libby, was prompt and super nice!! 10/10 recommend!

Unfortunately this experience wasn’t what I was expecting. The customer service was great but the food was meh. I stopped here while waiting for a table at a restaurant nearby and was considering staying dependent on the food. I have a pretty strict diet as I’m training for a body building competition so I just ordered a side of rice to start. Unfortunately, the rice was overcooked and hard. While I didn’t try an entree a simple side made me not want to order additional food.

3 Overpriced unseasoned tacos that took forever to get to the table. Ordered a marg to go with it. Supposed to be a deal but they didn’t give it to me. Had to ask for them to fix it. Waited a few minutes and bartender preceded to tell me i can go now because the money will be back on my card in a rude way. This place isn’t authentic at all. There are tons of better authenticly owned Mexican restraunts in that area. Im surprised there are so many 5 stars for this place.

This place surpassed my expectations when I popped in to grab some dinner to go. I got al pastor tacos and they were good size and had amazing flavor. Super convenient location in the Crossroads neighborhood. Will definitely be back soon.

It was our first time visiting yesterday. I wasnt super hungry. We had some margaritas and chips and queso and all were great and the owner was super sweet. The food that everyone else was eating looked and smelled great. We will be coming back hungry!
