If you order a chicken burrito, please be aware that there could be small pieces of bone & grissel chopped up with the meat. While the flavor of the beans, rice & salsa were delicious, I had to stop eating the burrito halfway through after finding multiple choking hazards inside. I even opened the burrito & tried to pick through it, but alas it just wasn’t worth it, nor was I appetized anymore after biting down on multiple hard things in my food. It was so bad, I actually called the restaurant for a refund. I know what to expect if I order chicken on the bone, but inside a burrito? Hacked up pieces of bone & grissel are completely unacceptable. This was my first time trying the place too. Not sure I’ll be back. I will say the young lady who answered the phone was very apologetic & issued a refund quickly. I tried to photograph the pieces found inside my food, it’s just very difficult to do so.

We were on our way north in I15 from a family event and needed to grab a bite to eat. Wanted to find an authentic Mexican restaurant with convenient access. The chicken was excellent. We arrived within an hour of them closing, so they were out of chicken tamales, but I enjoyed the tacos and my husband had the 2 piece chicken plate. Excellent service. Relatively new restaurant. We wish them well.

Great price for a pretty big burrito and great flavors overall. The salsa verde was also really good. Definitely coming back.

First time at Señor Pollo and won’t be my last! My mom and I got the chicken burrito to share and 2 tamales (chicken and pork). It was delicious and plenty of food for the 2 of us. They even served the burrito cut in half on two plates for us. The service was excellent. Great value for the money!

Quality food. The chicken seasoning had lots of strong flavor. The spicy salsa was prepped with roasted vegetables which enhanced the flavor – without having a strong smoky taste. It was just enough spice.
The pico salsa had very fresh ingredients. I’m a fan of the crushed salsa as opposed to chunky.

Super good food. We got a chicken combo, steak burrito, chicken tacos, filled churros, everything very tasty. I was wondering why the nearby food truck plaza was so sadly slow all summer, maybe it was all the business coming here instead. Love Midvale Main Street, great vibe, great place to exist.
