This small place has the best mexican tacos in the area I will recommend everyone start by birria beef tonge then shrimp… you can mix and match. Margaritas are only $5 durante hh with a good tequila. They have a space for an apart party,.. Gamess are shown. YOU feel líke those small places in México where the real taste is. They close late too. I finished the sweet experience with a Elote loco (get it on the cob)… Manager Darwin the best! I have been 3 times this week… Stop by and thank me later…

Hands down best happy hour spot on Columbia pike!!!! Edwin and his wife Maria take such good care of us every time we come! The food is divine, the drinks are fantastic, and the vibe is immaculate. We are here at least once a week, if not more and have a fabulous experience each time! Phone obviously did not eat first today but you cannot beat the papas locas! The beef birria ramen is also incredible! Everything is!

Ordered delivery for 3 tacos, pupusa, horchata, and chocolate banana.
The store put the horchata INSIDE my bag and it leaked all over the food (not to mention half the cup is taken up by a giant ice block). My tacos were all thrown to the side in the bag and I was given 0 sauce for them, even though I made sure to look at pictures posted here and saw other people had sauce with theirs.

My partner and I used to live next to a food truck that made the best birria ramen, so when we saw that Eli’s had it on the menu we immediately decided to head this way for dinner. When you walk in the building you immediately go upstairs and open another door— when we did the lights were off, prompting me to feel that perhaps they were closed and we should leave. Someone was standing inside, flipped on the lights, and asked us “for here or to go?” We said for here, but I was immediately stressed that this person was staying open late for us (it was 5pm, and after checking online they close at 9pm)
My partner wound up getting three tacos (chicken, shrimp, and steak) and I got the birria ramen. The food was fine, pretty good after adding quite a bit of hot sauce and salt. I stole some of the radishes and lime from the tacos for my ramen, and that made it better as well.
I forgot to mention, no one else was inside the restaurant the whole time we were there except for an uber driver picking up an online order.
As far as ambiance goes, it felt the whole time like we weren’t supposed to be there. When we ordered water we got plastic water bottles, and our cutlery was plastic. Which in general is fine— it just felt like it was a take-out only concept?
I gave service 5 stars because there was only one person there who both helped us and cooked all the food (the owner?) I felt that this person was in a hard position having to run everything by themselves, and perhaps that’s why everything else suffered a little bit during our visit. If I come back, I will be ordering to go.

Make yourself a favor try this small spot in Columbia Pike. I am a taco lover this is one of the best spots in Arlington. Birria Lengua and Shrimp to die for. They also have a great Happy hour! I hidden spot right in front of the Audi store! Tortas for $12 big ones and delicious! If you order pupusas they make it on the scratch! So good! Try them and thank me later.
