decided to try this new spot as i’ve been to others in CT. i ordered a jumbo raspberry margarita with sugar, it took over 15 minutes to receive the drink and then it was made incorrectly. ( the restaurant wasn’t even busy , so that should paint the picture ) i ordered the birria tacos not thinking it was something one could mess up ; well i was given 3 tacos with the driest meat and ZERO cheese which is the only other thing needed for this taco. you’ll see in the posted picture.
as horrible as the food and drinks were our waitress with the glasses and brown hair ( i forgot to get her name ) was the absolute sweetest woman and i could see she was visibly flustered. she then made remarks about how SHE would get in trouble for mistakes NOT made by her. when going and speaking to the manager he then said it was HER mistake because she was “flustered” , as a manager you should be helping your team, not pushing off accountability to others.
i truly feel sorry for the employees at this establishment who feel their jobs are in jeopardy over mistakes not made by them but by management and other staff. i will never return back to this establishment and i would advise others to do the same.

I was here today with my daughter, we were greeting at the door by Ana (she makes a great drink) she was very nice. Maria was our server and was very attentive. The food was amazing, I had steak fajitas, the music was good! Everything was so good! Thankyou! We’ll be back for sure!

Tried a shrimp chimichanga for the first time and it was excellent. Everything was made from scratch from the tortilla chips to the churros and the guacamole is to die for. Sipped on a lovely mango martini and great tasting apple juice. I’m definitely going to be dining there again!

Had shrimp/chicken fajitas, coconut margaritas & banana cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent, our waitress was very pleasant. Would reccomend & would go back.

Parking is off to the side of the building and have a few spots in front..I’m sure this place is busier on weekends or later at night than when I came in for Taco Tuesday.
Service – Waitress was Melody..I did 3 of the tacos, wanted more..but been munching all day in NY so I’m full. She did keep coming to check on me to see if I needed anything more, around 5 or 6 times..and there’s a good number of people in here. Skilled at her job, when I wasn’t looking for when she was bringing the food, she’d let me know that she was bringing it with a polite excuse me sir, foods ready..definitely appreciate that.
Food – Again..came for Taco Tuesday. Ground Beef Taco was amazing. The Shredded Chicken..came with a spice to it that I wasn’t crazy for..but I also don’t eat a lot of Mexican food..so this is a new experience.
Cuban Taco – excellent…and I’m not one for plantains…had to look up what they even were..added a nice touch to the taco.
Again…you only get the tacos for the Taco Tuesday special…no rice, no sides and no extras..I’m sure if you paid for the extras (whether it be salsa, sour cream, etc..you’d get it).
Atmosphere – Music is a touch loud, but no complaints..the TV was on above me and I could hear it without straining.
I just moved to Bristol..so I’m exploring the different restaurants..I would come back here again..on a 1-5..I’d give it 4.5

We were interested in finding a New Mexican restaurant in our area and were excited when we found Don Bigote. I was blown away by the flavors of every dish and drink we ordered starting with the complimentary chips and salsa. The waitress was nice and the manager came out to check on us as well. I was craving cocktail de Cameron and they had the best I have ever had. We also got empanadas and the burrito don bigote. For drinks we had Mexican candy which was to die for and the el jefe which was a on point marg. Looking forward to making this our new spot for when we are craving Mexican.

Got takeout to tailgate over at AMC before seeing COCO last week. I absolutely love this spot. Great tacos, service and churros. Do us all a favor as locals and support these lovely people. They already own my heart.

The outside of restaurant is deceiving . This is a a wonderful restaurant . Inviting . Delicious, fresh food . Great service . My daughter has been there before . So glad we went . It’s a few miles down from Farmington . We always went to Avon . No more !
