I was hoping for something better than what we got. The menu is basically $15-$20 for pretty much everything on it. The overall size and food quality is barley a star for the $ your paying. I have been to far better Mexican restaurants locally that are cheaper with far better quality and portion sizes. Even for the mexican restaurant, I have been too with prices similar to here, the food quality and portions sizes were far better! I will give them 1 pro of having a nice idea of a salsa bar. However, the salsa could use a big improvements on taste. My husband, and I decided personally, we will never be back.

Looking for a place for lunch, the Littles were drawn to the tall chicken, and so we stopped in to give it a try. We started with their white queso, which had a rich flavor and the Littles loved it. Our waitress pointed out the salsa bar and I had to immediately rush over to check it out. The salsa bar had a variety of salsas ranging from very hot to their roasted mild salsa. Littlest Flip Out had a hamburger and Little Flip Out tried an enchilada with side salad. They both enjoyed their meals. I got the spicy chorizo chimichanga and a soft and crispy taco since it was Taco Tuesday. The chimichanga was huge and it was delicious. The shredded chicken taco and ground beef crispy tacos were good as well and we enjoyed them. The service was fast and wait staff friendly. It was a good nice place to have lunch and plenty of seating for a group of any size.

I totally understand Missouri is a tourist City and prices are high but the prices of the food weren’t worth it, the food was not good, I asked for a shrimp fajita everything on a plate and they forgot the rice and beans so I asked the waitress if the fajita did not come with rice and beans and she said no but when was time to pay I asked again and they said they forgot and gave a 2 dollar discount. The fajita was mostly red and green pepper and a few small shrimp very disappointed with the unlock of communication. I was here for vacation so I didn’t return to this place ever again. Very slow customer service and all the tables had chips and salsa except our table and they didn’t even notice that.

My first time trying this place, I really enjoyed the beef street tacos. The chips were warm and crispy, and they have a salsa bar. I did a take out order, and the ladies Jennifer and LaRonda were so nice and went over the menu with me and answered the questions I had about different items on the menu. I definitely will be back.

DON’T !!! Stopped here last weekend (10/19/24), place was nearly empty (should’ve been our first clue). Got seated pretty fast but then didn’t see a soul for over 15 minutes. Two other parties came in after us and got chips and drinks before we even got a look.

Salsa bar was empty and had flies all around it. Lots of dirty tables.

And we warned a party of six coming in as we left, so with our four and their six, probably missed out on about $300 or better.

We went to Getting Basted down the road.

1st, I won’t complain about the price because this is in a hot tourist location, so it’s what’s expected. It’s actually not that bad, considering the location. But, there was much left to be desired. The food was just OK. It gave off “white people taco night” vibes. Service was good. I believe this place has potential, but it needs a Gordon Ramsay makeover . It’s not bad, but there’s also lots better places in the area for the same price.

Got a taco salad bowl, but the veggies and lettuce were sour. Thankfully, I filled up on chips and haven’t gotten super sick so far, just gassy. The waitress was really nice though and gave us a refund. The house salsa and corn salsa are really good and free. However, would not recommend. wasn’t a really good experience.

Family of 7, so knowing it was going to be expensive, we were hoping for good food and good service and good food and got neither. Our drink orders were wrong twice, and still ended up getting the wrong drink and just gave up. Food orders were all wrong, asked for it to be corrected and it was still wrong, gave up again. Fries were cold. Rice had zero flavor. Food was just gross all around. Asked for silverware and it never got brought to us. We were there for over an hour and there were tables that sat with previous guests plates that were never cleaned up. Manager did give us $40 off, but it was still $80 for food none of us could eat.

honestly, i would give this place zero stars if i could. even taco bell is better than this joke of a restaurant!
our server was hardly attentive and it took about 15 minutes for us to even get chips. all of the salsa on the “salsa bar” looked disgusting and it was dry and rotting on the sides of the bowls. yuck!
chips were amazing, but what’s good chips without decent salsa? after asking our waitress to refill the salsa bar, we got our salsa, and it just tasted like canned crap. beans were great as well. rice tasted just like cup rice that you boil in a bag or toss in the microwave. it tasted like water. i couldn’t eat them. enchilidas were also disgusting, hardly any filling and barely cooked, also coated in microwaved store bought queso.

PLEASE save your money and just go to another local restaurant. this one is absolutely a tourist trap. it’s disgusting!

OOF- I haven’t had a bad food experience in a while but this was awful. It took forever to get us seated, forever to get our drinks ordered, to get them out, it was almost an HOUR before we got our food which was warm, not hot. The salsa bar was out the entire time so we had nothing to eat with our chips, the service was so lacking- they’re understaffed but even the staff they have was slow to serve and instead of serving, they kept bussing tables of people who would leave from waiting so long. We finally got our food and it was gross and wrong. No other way to say it. The chorizo tasted dirty, beef tasted like roast, and chicken tasted like nothing. The guac was so bad like really bitter? Idk it was bad.

And it was SO EXPENSIVE!! They charge $3 to “smother” 2 table spoons of queso on your burrito. Everything was expensive for the sizes. I can’t even imagine expecting a tip with service like that. Can’t wait to see what this place turns into next lol
