All of the food was authentic and tasted incredibly fresh and natural. I loved the guac and chips — they tasted homemade and were super fresh. The tacos were juicy and flavorful, and with Hailey’s explanation I felt like I could taste and appreciate everything even more.
There was a consommé broth for dipping the tacos, a rich blend of broth, oil, seasoning, and vegetables — and as Hailey mentioned, that’s what they cook the steak and pork in, which explains the amazing flavor.
Alex was such a friendly and cool bartender, and overall we really enjoyed both the food and our time there for our first visit. Oh the mexican corns were super.

I’m writing this while sitting at their beautiful bar, which sets the tone for the entire experience. The drink selection is small but thoughtfully curated, with a nice variety of tequila and other spirits that clearly reflects care and intention.
The food is phenomenal. I ordered the carne asada quesadilla, and it was generously loaded with tender, flavorful meat and plenty of melted cheese. The pico de gallo was fresh and perfectly seasoned, adding just the right balance. My friend had the Pineapple Express burrito, and it was just as impressive. Everything was so good that we ended up ordering more to take home.
The owners were there during our visit, and you can truly feel the passion they’ve poured into this charming restaurant. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Hands down best Carne Asada you can get in the whole state. The flavor of the meat and pico is spot on perfect reminds me of SoCal taco stands. Bar and tables all very clean and the staff is great.

Amazing, authentic food, friendly and attentive staff, and a clean environment! I got elote and 3 tacos (carne asada, birria, pollo asado.) The meat was tender and flavorful, the outside corn shell crisped up heat enough and the elote was truly the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Chubby’s!

Such an amazing place to eat! The owners are such great people and so nice. You can really taste all the flavor and authenticity in every different taco. Great price for great quality and portions. Such a good vibe to chill and eat and have some drinks! This is definitely my new go to Mexican spot!

Awesome birria, great portions on the tacos, everything was well seasoned and fresh, and Hailey (sp?) was very accommodating and friendly. Food was a little slow considering it wasn’t that busy, but ambience was nice and things came out hot and delicious. It would be good if the Carne Asada was cut into smaller pieces, because it was a little tough to bite through. Will be going back!

As far as I know this is the tastiest Mexican street corn in town, crusted in flavorful cheeses and seasonings. If it’s not a food you’re obsessed with yet, it will be.
Staff also very polite during pickup!

Great place to stop in on that stretch of Kenmore. Bartenders (Cullen and Alex) were very authentic and friendly. Nice long bar and had some nice families with kids in it. Also had a large group of people on a bar crawl that came in. Such a great mix of people. Loved the Nachos and Burritos were great. Thanks Alex and Cullen foot making it a great night!
