Been here many times, and I plan to keep coming back.
I’ve ordered the smothered Barbacoa burrito 3 times now trying to get a picture for a review. So hard to remember when they set it down on the table . The side order of queso is terrific with pretty much everything.
I’ve had the specials on taco Tuesday, and they are spectacular. Occasionally they have live music/open mic night. This was a terrific show with dinner last time I was here. The servers have always been great for me. The food comes out quick and too hot to eat.
I generally stay at the nearby hotels when traveling through so I can just stroll over for dinner.
They have a terrific collection of wrestling masks around the top of the wall.

Stopped in Thursday Jan 15th 2026. I’m a huge fan of Verde Enchiladas I live down by San Antonio. Travel for work “flight crew”. Only writing this now the 20th since I’m only feeling better now. Let me tell you the waitress was great but…. when I asked about brisket verda enchiladas. She was like “Oh No!! Its Really Spicy!!!” I’m like thats strange ok, i’ll get the chicken. Food looked beautiful She even brought a huge bowl of lemons and limes. Loved that since I forgot to ask. I was absolutely starving hadn’t gotten to eat yet that day and it was around 7pm-ish. I started digging in Im like omg the sauce is spicy ill just eat the chicken that was also unbelievably spicy im like okay Ranchero beans dear God I think im dieing. She comes over half my plate cut up but digging around seeing if anything was not tryingbto kill me. Ive never had it feel like I drank bleach, or felt like I snorted wasabi in my life! Felt like I grew a flaming beard sensation. She asked how I was. I said this its edible spicy. Shes like what do you mean. Even though I know I have to be bright red at this point. I said did your cook lose taste or his tongue. I eat spicy all the time you literally cant eat this. She was like okay so you dont want anymore. Im like this is literally NOT edible. Instead of offering something else or at least more water. Nothing she just gave me my bill. In that kinda pain I simply paid. And Got the hell out! My throat was on fire all weekend and it completely screwed up my sinuses.

I’m not Mexican, but everything seems authentic. I had enchiladas con queso fresco. It came with a pile of lettuce & tomato, brown rice, refried beans, and three enchiladas topped off with queso fresco. They brought a bowl of tortilla chips and an entire bottle of salsa. The decor and beer lineup were Mexican, too. It was more than I could eat after a long day of driving.

I went at lunch and it was NOT busy at all. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was great. The venue is not as big as some of the other Braceros restaurants in town but still very good. I loved all the decorations in the restaurant!

Friendly staff. Live signing (karaoke style) from a gentleman. Food was cooked to perfection. Verde salsa was good flavor with little heat. Salsa for chips great flavor as well.

This place is small, but well worth the trip. We were staying at the hotel next door but we were thoroughly impressed with the homemade meals! Everything we tried was flavorful and priced right! Delicious and the service was excellent! Definitely a place we will visit again and again!

My husband and I tried Señor Braceros for the first time last night during their Dollar Taco Thursday, and we were so impressed! We ordered takeout and went inside to pick it up, and the experience was great from start to finish.
The hostess was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself was very clean with a fun and inviting atmosphere. We especially loved the luchador masks decorating the space—such a cool touch!
We ordered three of each of the four taco flavors, and to our surprise, they also included a big bag of chips and salsa with our order. Everything was delicious, and we really enjoyed the flavors of each taco.
We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try more from their menu! Highly recommend checking them out, especially on Taco Thursday and Taco Tuesday!

Love this place I got the cheese enchiladas with red sauce they were delicious! They had live music that they were setting up when I was heading out around 4 pm on a Sunday. The staff were super nice and informative on the menu! When I sat down they immediately gave me chips and a whole jug of salsa just for me! The cheese enchiladas I ordered worth stuffed with queso, fresco, and onions with a side of rice and beans. They were perfect! I added some of the salsa to the top of everything and it was a great idea. (: The serve breakfast all day! Their breakfast options looked delicious and I hope I get to try them next time.

Ordered pepitas queso fundido w/homemade corn tortillas, bowl of pozole verde and a red cheese enchilada w/extra extra extra onions.
Red cheese enchilada best I’ve ever had and I’m from NM so quite a compliment! I wouldn’t be surprised if there was honey or brown sugar or a touch of tomato soup added … very flavorful!!
Pozole was different from any I’ve ever made/eaten: HUGE bowl (looked like a small cup on menu picture) with very little posole and onions and bay leaves plus light herbs/chile flavor broth … I bet there was at least a pound of meat in it, seriously.
My pepitas fundido came out as the chorizo fundido instead … I sent it back and only then learned that they were out of pepitas and substituted chorizo. I was too weak-willed to reject but wish I had as chorizo always too much grease 🙁
Service excellent, clean bathrooms, casual fun dance club vibe with juke box playing all the Latin beats, more music blaring from kitchen … lots of families pouring in around 4 as I was finishing up.
If you or someone wearing hearing aids, maybe go in between meal times.

Stopped in a Thursday night great food, but poor beverage choices. Was hoping for a Marg or glass of wine, but they only had mediocre beer options. The food was fantastic though and worth the stop! My shrimp was done to perfection! Staff was kind and attentive. Salsa came in a carafe which was unexpected.
