Just recently moved out of the area but lived by this Coney for about 9 years. I have only been a few times, and my most recent visit was while I was moving things to the new house about a week ago. Just a regular coney so nothing crazy special, but you can tell it’s one of those places that has more than a few regulars. The service and food during each visit was good overall. If you are a big fan of coney’s this may be a good place for you!

Good diner type food and nice staff. Fried mushroom appetizer very good and fried cod dinner was crispy included very good fries. Coleslaw homemade and very creamy. Homemade chocolate shake delicious. Been in business since 1937.

We, my immediate family, met here for my brother Jeff’s birthday. We ALWAYS used to go to the Taylor Senate Coney Island, until they came under new management and the food just wasn’t what it once was. Not only was the food great our waitress, who was in her 80’s was so fantastic. She looked and worked like someone at least 20 years younger and we offered and gave her a piece of my brother’s birthday cake and a $30 tip. All around great day.

Careful eating here they like serving salmonella poisoning, the eggs are always runny. It’s really hard to leave a tip on a to go order that has to be driven back 10 miles to be redone, while all the other food waits ice cold.
