We loved their Octoberfest food special and mugs. The food was amazing and enjoyed our time here. We came back for the spooky trivia night with some friends. We got the chicken tenders and pizza. It was delicious! We love the trivia night! Just wished we could’ve sat inside but it’s popular which is nice.

Visited this place or actually stumbled and wow did I find some excellent brews here at this brewery right in the outskirts of Houston. I lover their beers, just got nachos and queso which was excellent but their Jalapeno smoke show, whitbier, Hazy everything I had was amazing and true to form. A great Senate I would love visiting again and again while in the Houston area.

I love this place. The service is awesome. The beer is so good. They really took care of us veterans. They accommodated our NOV veterans network organization with respect and humility. The beer selection was great. I had the senators IPA and it was amazing.

I was on the hunt for a fun spot to celebrate my husbands promotion. They made it so easy to reserve two tables to fit us all. Ordering was a breeze, service was incredible and the brewery itself was amazing. Also, the FOOD YALL! You wouldn’t believe this is “brewery food”. It was sooo good! We can’t wait to come back – thank you Senate staff for all you did!

Perfect combination of great beer and good food.
The beer selection is very good, there is always something new for you to taste, reaching a good spectrum from malt to hop. They have been creative mixing cider, fruits and beers. Food quality and variety are good and has been maintained through the years I have been patronaging. Patio tables are great and service is friendly and effective. Overall, it has been a great experience that I recommend.

New to us brewery with a nice taproom. You order at the cash registers, where they pour your selections. The beers are good.

The food was fine. Like a lot of places, the seem unaware of salt, and no shakers to be seen. This the burgers were unnecessarily bland, and the coated fries (my least favorite variety) lacked punch. The veggies were fresh though.
.
They have several TVs, one of which is dedicated to Dynamo games when they play.

Senate Avenue Brewing Company in Jersey Village is a standout destination for craft beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike. As a Google Local Guide, I was thoroughly impressed by the inviting atmosphere, exceptional brews, and delectable cuisine.

The beer selection is diverse and expertly crafted. Favorites include the “All Those In Favor” DDH Hazy IPA, known for its juicy hop profile, and the “Smoke Show Jalapeño Blonde,” which offers a subtle kick without overpowering the palate. For those seeking something unique, the “Bayou Kaiju Milkshake IPA” delivers a creamy, vanilla-infused experience that’s both refreshing and indulgent.

The culinary offerings are equally impressive. The Mayor’s Special Blend Burger is a must-try—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Paired with their renowned fries, it’s a meal that satisfies on every level. Other notable dishes include the Boudin Balls, Street Corn Dip, and the Redfish Pontchartrain, each showcasing the kitchen’s commitment to quality and flavor.

The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The family-friendly environment, complete with a dog-friendly patio, makes it an ideal spot for gatherings of all kinds. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience.

Senate Avenue Brewing Company exemplifies what a local brewery should be—a place where community, quality, and passion come together. Whether you’re a beer aficionado or simply looking for a great meal in a relaxed setting, this establishment delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

Any time I am remotely close to Jersey Village I try to stop in here. Last year they had an excellent winter warmer and I was bummed it wasn’t on tap last week yet when I stopped by, but I guess it just gives me a reason to stop by again sooner rather than later. The variety of beers is always excellent, never too many of just one flavor and typically all good if not great. The vibe is chill and a great place to just hang out.

It’s a nice spot. The people are nice and they have people walking around if you need service or clean off your table. Trivia or game night Wednesday’s are fun. Its just a cozy place to take a break with friends and good beer.

A friend suggested this place for dinner and I honestly had my reservations. Dinner at a brewery sounded like chicken wings and fries but Senate Avenue Brewery blew my mind with a restaurant worthy menu. I had the braised short rib with mashed potatoes (go ahead a take a sec to wrap your mind around that. I’ll wait) followed by a refreshing and generous helping of raspberry sorbet that was the perfect palette cleanser for the end of a flavorful meal. The short rib was insanely tender, cutting easily with my knife, with just enough sauce to coat each piece of meat as I cut into it and a few mushroom caps sprinkled in there. I could’ve used more mash for sure but that’s a personal preference as I’m a potato girlie. The cheese curds were crunchy and the pretzel bites were pillowy soft. I have no complaints about my meal nor the atmosphere of the brewery. It’s a large, open space with high ceilings to carry the sound throughout. It was bright and loud which I fully expected but it wasn’t off-putting. Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful and at the end of the night as they were gearing to close, the runner came and asked if we wanted any dessert before the kitchen closed. That’s how I ended up with the sorbet lol. I’d definitely come back. There were a couple things on the menu I’d like to try.
