Visiting Albury a while ago, we couldn’t get in to Sen. Knowing we were coming back to Albury, I booked on line to see if we could get in on a Saturday night. Glad to see the booking was accepted. Better half and I ordered a few dishes so we could share and sample. There were no complaints about the food at all. We started off with some entrees and asked if it was ok we could have a bit of time between entree and mains. The staff were happy with this. Starters we ordered a serve of the scallops on fire, pho in tea pot and crispy almond prawn salad. We were also given a complimentary noodle cake with tamarind sauce. Absolutely stunning!!! Had our breakfast and on to mains. We had salted egg fried rice, caramelized prawn and grilled pork jowl. So good. My favourite dish was the pork jowl, the better said the scallop. With both agreed the fried rice was pretty good too. Staff were excellent, great job. They need a good pat on the back. They kept the beers up to me, no waiting. All up we give Sen a 10/10 with high recommendations and we will definitely be back!!

There weren’t a lot of options when trying to book a nice place for Xmas Eve dinner in Albury but I chanced upon Sen which is a fairly new restaurant serving contemporary Vietnamese cuisine (or as the manager told us “70% Vietnamese, the rest Thai and modern Japanese”).
Fantastic find and dinner was exceptional. To be honest, contemporary Vietnamese might not be something that comes to mind when passing through Albury. However, dinner tonight changed my mind and this is definitely a place I will come back to again when we are in Albury again.
Everything was very good, particularly the meat dishes (grilled beef, grilled pork jowl and pan fried duck). And service staff were personable, helpful and responsive! We had a great Xmas Eve. Highly recommended!

A really enjoyable meal. Great service, inspiring menu with relaxed atmosphere.
Laneway artwork is wonderful.
Duck spring rolls with a curd type wrapper were crisp and full flavoured. Side pickles were a treat.
Oysters with a non traditional mignonette were refreshing. Should’ve ordered a doz.
Cuttlefish was sadly unavailable, so soft shell crab it was. Large pieces battered & deep fried, served with rich tamarind sauce, a bit overpowering for the delicateness of crab. Chilli was very mild.
Honey BBQ steak is oyster blade. Served on a quaint hibachi grill with house made sauce was all sorts of deliciousness.
Clay pot mushroom floss fried rice was an absolute winner. So tasty however floss was undetectable.
A real gem for Albury.

“Would you like still or sparkling water for the table?” BEWARE – this is adding $17 to your bill without any communication.
I’m pretty disappointed with my experience.
I feel the menu descriptions didn’t really align with what was served, and for those expecting ice cream … it’s sorbet.
I know I know, fine dining = small meals for more than a full pub meal … but the prices seem very inflated for what is served.
My wife and I love all kinds of Asian cuisine, but can’t say we really got that authentic flavour from our experience.
2 entrees 1 main w’ rice, 2 deserts and 3 drinks = $230
Had toast when we got home.
When there is food left from a tiny serve probably means something was wrong.
The complementary noodle toast thing was my favourite dish … and it was free
I wish my experience was different as we were both pretty excited. But it missed the mark for us

We came for Thursday Night Steak Night and it was absolutely amazing!!
This is our third time here and we are always blown away by the presentation and the quality of the food. Our steak was tender, perfectly cooked paired with rich sauces, fresh vegetables and a beautiful pinot noir.
It was my birthday when visiting Sen, and they greeted me with a beautiful card, and ended my night with complimentary dessert and singing happy birthday.
We absolutely love this restaurant, and we are already looking forward to coming back again soon!

Food and drinks were absolutely amazing! Service was a little slow but the small venue was packed on a Saturday night and we weren’t in a hurry so this didn’t matter. The dishes were all very special and well thought out, as was the impressive cocktail list. I will be back for sure.

Utterly wonderful fine dining experience here in Albury. Food is exquisite and very reasonably priced. Venue is relaxed and delightfully subdued, it is great to be able to have quiet dinner conversation.
I think this place will become a regular haunt when I’m in town.

Found our new favourite Vietnamese resto in town, no need to drive 6hrs. From entree to mains we enjoyed everything. The execution and taste is purely perfection. We’re definitely gonna come back and will try dessert to next time. Over all experience was spectacular! See you in our next dining. Thanks for awesome customer service.

We had a wonderful experience at SEN. we are on a trip to celebrate our anniversary and mentioned that when booking. We were greeted beautifully with a kind word of congratulations and a lovely hand written card. The service was outstanding, the cocktails delicious and the food scrumptious. The evening started with a complimentary crispy pancake which was tasty. We then ordered the duck spring rolls, the scallops, which come with a bit of fiery fanfare, the honey beef over charcoal and the mushroom floss fried rice. All presented beautifully. At the end of the evening we were offered a glass of bubbles each to cheers with for our anniversary – a really nice touch. Definitely worth a visit

Easy booking experience. Welcoming team members. Service was efficient. Definitely some “experience” features involved, which is not often seen here in Albury Wodonga.
Food was tasty. Personally a 7.5/10.
Please have the duck skin more crispy next time.
