Cozy, inviting spot with simple, stellar farm-to-table fare, every bite a delight. The pasta manages to be both feather-light and wholly satisfying, and sauces flavorful, rich, and well-balanced. The intriguing wine list and knowledgeable staff make it easy to step out of your comfort zone and try something new and after-dinner options include a well-curated list of amaris. Decided to make the 40 minute drive out after seeing Guy Fieri made a stop here while he was in town. Honestly didn’t know what to expect since there were not many photos or reviews of this place, but figured I’d take a chance. I was not at all disappointed, the atmosphere is what you’d expect a nicer down town Fremont restaurant to feel like. The staff was super helpful explaining the menu and what a lot of the items were that we had not ever heard of before. The food was even better than I had expected and made the drive out well worth it. They had an extensive wine and cocktail list, which was a huge plus. Make sure you save room for desert, the budino is fantastic.

It is worth the drive, no matter how far away you live. Chef Drew’s pasta is to die for, perfectly al dente and incredible with any of the available sauces. We each tried different pastas and shared bites with each other, and they were all magical. We also ordered all three of the available desserts because we couldn’t decide on just one; the budino was the universal favorite, but they were all delightful. Our service was also top notch, you would never guess they’ve only been open for a few days. They launched this restaurant absolutely the right way. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Semo recently and couldn’t have had a better experience. Ashley was our primary service person but the entire front staff including the bar staff do a great job. Wine list is outstanding and Jack is always available and knowledgeable to help you pick out a great bottle. The homemade pastas are amazing! Absolutely prepared perfectly. Save room for desert and enjoy the bodino and the espresso martini! Chef Drew and his wife Michelle have created an amazing gem in our hometown!

The wine rack is the first thing you notice as you walk in the door. This sets the tone for an atmosphere that is both relaxed and fun. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and sophisticated without being pretentious. Ask questions about menu items that you are not sure about, they give great recommendations.
