Traveling and passing through the area at lunch time. We had our camper so we were looking for somewhere we could stop and park. We used the side parking lot of the hotel. We were seated by a friendly woman right away. The waitress immediately came out and she was also friendly and attentive. My husband got the steak sandwich and I got the southwest chicken wrap with SW corn. We got the jalapeño poppers as an app. They were really good. My wrap was good, but the tortilla was a bit hard. The corn was not good at all, just tasted like burnt corn with no seasoning. I guess I was expecting more like elotes corn. My husband said his sandwich was ok. He was expecting more beef on it for the price, it was a real thin sandwich. The prices were not bad overall. $45 for 2 of us with 2 sodas and 2 meals. It was a really nice and clean establishment.

I dined here on one of the “Dine Out for Charity Monday”s and I had a great experience!! For the price of the food that I paid, it was very good! I ended up paying less than $15 for a steak and I was very pleased. I was a bit disappointed by the cut of the steak, but I also understand that I paid a pretty cheap price for it so I can’t expect the fanciest steak in the world! There was a good amount of fat on it, but I thought that the taste was prepared very well. It had a nice little charring on the outside and was very flavorful… More than I expected to be. I also really liked the mashed potatoes. They were delicious! I also got a four dollar sangria while on the happy hour and it was definitely worth the $4. It was a very good red wine sangria. finally, I had a bowl of the French onion soup, and I found it pretty tasty. The bread seemed a bit stale in it like it was hard to pull away from itself in the soup, but the flavor of the broth was really delicious and rich. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal here, especially if you’re looking for a tasty meal at a cheap price.
The service I received was outstanding! My server Will was extremely friendly and we talked a lot about books and he took the time to help me answer all of the questions I had about the menu. He was very patient and helpful, and offered me good recommendations (of both food and books)! I also continuously had people coming in to check on me and make sure that I was doing well and to ask if I needed anything! The service was truly great and I really appreciated it.
The building was so cozy and I really loved the restaurant. It felt like a cabin, in a way. The lighting was warm and made me feel very cozy, and the playlist had lovely Christmas music playing. The building is pretty spacious so there can be a lot of people seated at one time, but it did not feel crowded or cramped.
I really loved my dinner here! Everything (including the top) was less than $35, and all for a good cause, too!!

Thank you Sarah!
She recommended the southwest omelette and I have not had an omelette that delicious at a restaurant before and Sarah instantly makes you feel welcome, super friendly, upbeat, and easy to talk to. You can tell she genuinely enjoys talking with people and making sure everyone has a good time while they’re there. She was really attentive without being over the top and just had a really warm, positive energy the whole time and my kids had so much fun talking with her. She also recommended the southwest omelette and it was amazing, definitely the best thing I could have ordered. Between the great food and Sarah’s great attitude, We’ll definitely be back every Sunday afternoon and asking for Sarah and a southwest omelette!

As an out of town guest our party of 4 stopped in for Happy hour and a bite. 1st off the music was a bit loud however the Mgr Heath stopped by our table and we asked to lower the volume and he did very quickly. After our 1st round or drinks we all ordered apps. 3 of 4 showed up fairly quick the 4th was MIA. Our server was also not very attentive as we had to flag her Sarah down to inquire about the missing food and also waiting on our 2nd round. 1.5 hrs latter the 4th app shows up and its wrong… keep in mind it was simply shrimp tacos. Our server sets them down stating they were made wrong so she knew it and yet tried to serve them. 1 guest was allergic to an item and it was supposed to be left off. Result was we asked for the manager due to the rudeness and lack of professionalism of a very poor server. The Mgr fully comped our entire table and that was really great on his part. We all felt that the terrible service from the server Sarah left us all with a bad taste for the business however the Mgr also was a great pleasure and honestly our read was this was not the 1st time he has had problems with our server. As a business owner I can honestly say she would not have a job working for me any longer. The language and unprofessional attitude did not represent what appears to be a fun and nice place to eat.

I wanted to try this place We did tonight. I won’t go back. The guy at the front was rude to us and condescending to the staff. I thought maybe he was on the Spectrum so having a daughter on the Spectrum I gave some grace. First he tried to seat us in the blinding sun where no one else had been seated. He begrudgingly said, you want that booth? I said yes. Slammed down menus and walked off. After 20 min the waitress came. Took our order. After a other 30 minutes our food came. My daughter had fries, no mention of would you like some ketchup? My meal came through a steak no mention of would you like steak sauce? I said we never got our appetizer crab stuffed mushrooms. She said oh let me go get them. She brought them, cold. Apparently sitting for a while. All of the food was cold. I had asparagus and mashed potatoes.. cold. My daughter’s chicken strips and fries.. cold. The waitress just put things down and would quickly walk away. My Margarita was in an Old Fashion glass. Granted it was Saturday evening and the place was busy. It was super loud in there also. For the money 68.o0 for poor service and cold food. I don’t think I need to go back. Besides that I’ve been in the bathroom since I got home.

Our waitress Jessica was amazing. She checked on us several times and made sure our drinks were always full. I will definitely be coming back with the family. The atmosphere was great and so was the food.

As a dad of two, I would be proud to have Heather as a third child. She struck the perfect balance all evening — warm and friendly without ever being over the top. She was attentive and helpful, yet never intrusive or in our business. Heather was efficient and quick, but she never made us feel rushed.
Because of her professionalism and natural kindness, we truly enjoyed our meal and the entire experience. She has a calm confidence about her that made everything feel easy and welcoming

We ate at Sedona Taphouse a few weeks ago when the gem and mineral show was going on at the Clarion. The atmosphere was cozy. They have TVs so folks can watch sports. The decor reminded me of a lounge in LA or somewhere. It was cool and laid-back. As you can see from my pictures, they have a wonderful selection of Kentucky bourbon and craft beer.
We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms, and the crab-cake sliders with Brussel sprouts. Both were excellent! The menu is a bit pricey, but not anything more than you would expect at a restaurant these days. The food was excellent and worth the money. My only complaint would be that they need more than one bartender; especially on a Saturday afternoon during March madness while an event is going on at the hotel they are attached to.
It’s very convenient if you are staying at the Clarion. You don’t have to even go outside to get to the restaurant. It’s located right off the interstate, so it’s very convenient for those who are traveling and looking for a nice meal and a place to stay. We will definitely go there again.
