Consistently a great experience at Secret Indian Kitchen, dine in or take out. Service is fast and food is always excellent. Last night we tried a few new things and they were delicious. For example, Shrimp Saag, Butter Chicken, Chicken Kathi Roll and, the best one for us, Chana Saag, a popular, healthy Indian curry made with chickpeas and spinach cream. Highly recommended!

So happy to have another Indian restaurant in the area. Paneer tikka was delicious. Not super creamy but nice and thick. A little sweet but very good. Rice was plenty. Samosas were crispy 2 per order. The prices were a little bit on the higher side but to be honest everything has gone up in price and I don’t mind paying more for consistently good food.

Christmas Eve has been sushi night for my wife and I for over 20 years, but I noticed the sign for this newer local Indian restaurant and we decided to break with tradition because we miss all the options we had for Indian cooking we had when we lived in central NJ. We were blown away by how good it was. Malai Kofta were fluffy and light and the Baingan Bharta had a silky texture. Chilli paneer was well spiced, chilli garlic naan and samosa chaat with a generous portion of onion chutney as a side order were divine. The chutney was fresh and vibrant. We got takeout this time, but the restaurant and staff were quite welcoming and we are looking forward to eating in. As a sidenote, it was super fun telling people that we were gonna have Christmas Eve dinner from the “secret Indian kitchen” lol! Good conversation starter. Wish you guys all the success.

We heard about this place. We walked in, sat down at a table. The only working guy that there came over dropped menus on off while talking to someone else, never said hello, poured our water, we said that thank you. He said nothing. Rude. The walls are ugly. No music. We got up and left. Never to return Rude Man.

My first time ordering here and the dal makhani was so good. The spicing was just right and was some of the best I’ve had. Also got a garlic naan bread and was just as good. Right fluffiness and good spicing.

Ordered the Curry Chicken after asking the server what they would recommend. They were super friendly, asked questions about what I like and spice level and made an excellent suggestion because I throughly enjoyed my meal. Plus for less than $20, I have 3 serving easily. Very tasty, filling and the staff was exemplary. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
