12.24.23: After the Christmas in Space Cirque show, I was surprised the marketplace was still open. Not only was it still open, it was poppin’ and pretty busy on Christmas Eve. There was so much yummy goodness to look at and I wanted it all! I had to contain and control myself, so instead of getting everything under the kitchen sink–I went with a Gnome Cheesecake and 2 cookies: red velvet and s’mores. The mini cheesecake not only was pretty, it was super delicious and that’s what counts the most. I got the cookies for Santa, so I’m not sure how they tasted but since they’re gone. One could only suspect that Santa approved lol.

Honestly, better food and faster than most of the restaurants in the Casino! Can even deliver to your room supposedly. I’ve used for many years and very consistent. Good fresh berries tart, burritos, pizzas, and more!

Dropped by for a grab-and-go light breakfast and coffee at the Grand Sierra Resort & Hotel. They had a nice selection of donuts and desserts. While there weren’t many hot coffee flavor options listed, Saif went above and beyond to accommodate me. He was very knowledgeable and first offered me the drinks from the fridge, then explained the available syrups he could use to customize a coffee for me. I decided to go with his recommendation instead of my usual Starbucks stop.
Putting the extra effort to do this review because I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service, especially during the busy morning hustle & bustle. Saif wasn’t trying to shoo me away and rushing me to place my order. I also noticed how well Saif managed and guided his team–they were professional, efficient, and provided great customer service.
It’s rare to experience that kind of attentiveness and teamwork in such a fast-paced setting.
While writing this, I’m sitting at the table enjoying my morning snack and I continue to see them do a great job and making the extra effort to acknowledge their customers.

The desserts are so good! I highly recommend grabbing a treat from here. We tried the Oreo cheesecake, Gelato, and blueberry cheesecake bars. All were excellent.

When I saw how much a single muffin cost next door at Starbucks (~$7), I Immediately popped over here. A coffee and a muffin (hefty muffin) was $8. I had my coffee dark and it was pretty good! The muffin was moist and delicious.

Got the grand breakfast sandwich. Was so bad, burnt and one piece of bacon, for 12 bucks? Absolute rip. No flavor at all and had to dose it with condiments.

We expected the prices for food to be resort type pricing but they weren’t. There was a nice selection of hot food (sandwiches, pizzas, nachos, etc), cold food (sandwiches, salads) and pastries. The food was pretty tasty too.
