A true hidden gem here in Ottawa and specializing in northern Vietnamese cuisine. It was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. I had the chicken thigh rice vermicelli as a main and crispy tofu to start. It ended off with coconut panna cotta. All very delicious and would highly recommend. Come and support this place and they are few and far between.
Owners were very welcoming and warm.

It seems like a new store. The logo is so cute. Bun Cha Hanoi is highly recommended. It’s really delicious. I personally like this store very much. The decoration is simple and comfortable. The waiters are very friendly and all young. It’s an open kitchen. The only drawback is that it’s very busy, so the smoke from the grilled meat is a bit strong. But it’s okay and acceptable. All the flavors we ordered were very good. I think the Red Wine Beef Stew is more suitable for snowy days. After drinking it, you’ll feel warm all over. The pickled garlic slices and chili peppers served on the side, you must have a bite of the noodles and a slice of garlic. It’s a perfect combination. I highly recommend it, but this flavor may not be to everyone’s taste, so choose carefully. The spices and red wine flavor are quite strong, a very special taste. I really like this store and will definitely go again.

Heard about this new Vietnamese place and went to try it for a night out. Service was great and the spot is nice and cozy with an open kitchen concept.
Food was presented nice but I personally found that the dishes could have used more punch flavour wise. Especially the fried rice, I found it pretty bland. The broth that came with the rice was nice and rich tho.
The nem was crispy and hot, however the fish sauce dip that it came with was definitely toned down and not was pungent as ones you would find at Vietnamese places in China town.
The jerky salad was my favourite tho, the jerky was so tasty and had a nice spice kick to it.
Great little spot to check out in the Glebe

The appetizer Nem and the service are the only two positive things about this restaurant… we ordered the red wine beef stew pho – if you charge me $25 and there are only 4 pieces of tiny TINY beef cubes in it, it’s pure stealing… and the pho is not even that good. Plus the rice noodles are hard to chew, felt it’s undercooked. I don’t understand where the 4.9 rating comes from. Have something better

Lovely service and cozy vibe. The appetizers are 10/10, jerk salad is a must have. Love the mocktail version of the drinks. Bun cha was flavourful with generous portion. Dessert was very creative with soft tofu creme brulee and coconut panna cotta. I will be coming back for the full menu!!!

The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was so lovely. Great spot for a date night. We had stir fried corn, pork skewers and vina misu as dessert; I would recommend all of them! Can’t wait to try more.
