Swung by Second Home after trying one of the hot spring options nearby. The tomato soup was the highlight and our group appreciated the vegetarian options available. With that said, service was slower than we’d hope to see and our group found the dishes pretty average overall.

Walked in and was greeted with an eye roll and a “sit wherever you want.” The waiter came over and threw a menu down on the table in front on my boyfriend. The last straw was being served sulfuric water that seemed non-potable. Would highly recommend driving into hot springs and checking out the Camas market Cafe if your hungry. Would honestly recommend staying hungry before eating here, as thats what we did!

It’s on the outskirts of Hot Springs, Montana. Although it’s also a bar the food was great. I got a taco salad and barely ate it all. My husband got a bison burger and did not say it was”tasty”. That’s a good sign.

It is a small place. Family owned. There was a buffet with instant mashed potatoes and gravy both were overcooked. The fried chicken was overdone and dry. The ham was thick cut but also dry. Thewaitress was a young girl who was maybe 12 did a great job and had a great smile. She made sure we had everything we needed. The cook was sitting at the counter watching TV.

Fries were cooked in old oil. Server dumped shrimp linguine juice all over me trying to serve plate to person beside me, server didn’t even apologize. Served rotten milk to my mother for her coffee. Atmosphere is very cramped,servers are dirty touching there nose and hair then carrying plates of food to customers. Manager sat on his phone watching videos for everyone to hear offering no help.
