Sebree’s seems to want to keep their outstanding food a secret. The exterior of the building and the gravel parking lot, at best, might suggest tasty comfort food—not the very best steak for, as a previous reviewer wrote, “hundreds of miles.”
The KC Strip is the very best steak I have ever eaten and rivals any dish I’ve eaten, anywhere. The seasoned glaze gives way to a thick, tender cut. The medium rare was superbly achieved by culinary expertise bordering on the magical: the interior was uniform—not a near raw center but a wonderful perfect medium rare, juicy and delicious, from side to side. Wow.
Decades ago I had an amazing steak in, of all places Newark, New Jersey. It was charred black with a fabulous rare interior. I thought I’d never have a better steak. I was wrong.
Oh, the baked potato was first rate as well—cooked to a moist slightly brown interior.

If you are looking for freshly made food, locally sourced, then this is the place for you. I recommend the Primmer farms pork chop. Excellent meat. We have been several times and will be back. Good craft beer selection.

Great local restaurant with great food and a rare, high quality family feel! The experience of places like this make you want to never darken the door of a chain restaurant again.

Service is always above and beyond, and the food is beyond amazing. We recently had the 24oz steak and by far it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The salad and sautéed zucchini are delicious and the bread pudding is heaven. (Get extra bourbon sauce, trust me!)

For the price a lot of little things hurt and nice date only slightly but just enough to remove a star. Everything was well cooked and if money isn’t an issue it was a great service experience and personal dining fun. Some nitpicks, no felt feet on concrete make the chairs super loud, leaving the kitchen door open so we could hear all the timers, the gravy and food was a tad bland, my drink was just… okay, and finally several prices were a few dollars more than the waitress or menu stated when we were billed. We will be going back for sure to try more but for the cost a few things should really be tightened up for 5 stars, 4 all day long! I will reserve recommending fully till after next time we go but if have $20+ per person for the experience make reservations. Limited hours Fri, Sat,Sun only.

Driving up to this place I expected normal food and service. Boy was I blown away. It has a cool farm house interior with a unique penny floor. Like seriously, there has to been over a $100 worth of pennies in the floor.
Then the food, Top Chief quality! My brother took us there and he only got burgers so I went up to expect a normal burger place. But when I saw the menu I could tell this place is more than burgers. I ended up getting a pasta dish and my wife got their cod. Both were easily the best tasting dishes we have had in awhile. Will totally go back the next time we visit my brother, which might be soon just because of this place.

Definitely not only the best restaurant I’ve eaten at but probably some of the best service. Walking in it feels very welcoming and has a very old fashion rustic look about it. Looking around on the floor you see thousands upon thousands of penny’s that make up the tiles of the flooring. I’ve tried many different foods on there menu and even experienced there bunch. There hasn’t been anything I haven’t eaten there that hasn’t been not only good but it’s fresh and full of flavor. My favorite item would be the calamari for an appetizer followed by the spicy shrimp with tuna, with mashed potatoes for a side. To top it all off I get there homemade bread pudding with a Caramel bourbon sauce. All that together is more than enough for two people but, I love food so I’ll devour it all and leave not regretting it. 😀 I recommend it to anybody and everybody. There hasn’t been a restruant I have been to with this high quality of food.
