It was our first dinner during a brief stay in Manchester, Vermont. The restaurant was bustling and quite loud indoors due to a couple of large business groups dining, so we chose to sit outside. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, and the food exceeded our expectations, especially considering the reasonable price point. I also appreciated the thoughtful plating.

However, the service didn’t quite match the quality of the food and ambiance. It wasn’t terrible, just very basic and somewhat cold. Before our meals arrived, two spiders suddenly dropped down in front of my face above the table. I asked for a paper napkin to gently remove them (trying not to ruin the cloth ones), and one of the male waiters listened to my request and said he’d handle it but never returned. Later, when I pointed out the spiders climbing the wall next to me, our server removed them without much expression on her face, similar to her demeanor throughout our meal.

I’m grateful the issue was eventually taken care of, and it didn’t ruin my meal. Perhaps the server has a hard day, however, a bit more warmth and attentiveness from the staff would have elevated the experience significantly.

We’re sharing our experience simply to help other families avoid the same mistake we made. Seasons was a last-minute decision after a long day on the slopes when we couldn’t get a table at Lola’s and our reservation at The Crooked Ram was too late for the kids.

Unfortunately, the experience fell short across the board. The ambiance felt dated — very early ’90s — and the space appeared dusty, even on the chandeliers directly above the dining tables. Service was also disappointing. Our waitress seemed visibly irritated when we asked for extra ketchup for a large order of fries (which arrived with only a small portion).

We ordered the Cobb salad, salmon fajitas, chicken wings, truffle fries, a winter espresso martini, and two kids’ pastas. The Cobb salad ($25) arrived without dressing; the grilled chicken was cold and tasted reheated, and the bacon and eggs seemed pre-prepared rather than fresh. It felt more like a cafeteria salad than something at that price point. The salmon fajitas were passable but under-seasoned, and the salmon itself was cold. The chicken wings were tough and overcooked. The kids’ pastas ($12 each) were reasonably priced, but the noodles tasted pre-boiled and the sauce seemed from a jar.

Two of us left with stomach aches, which unfortunately sealed the experience for us.

The reason for two stars instead of one: the truffle fries were enjoyable, and the winter espresso martini was well made.

At $160 for two adults and two children, the overall experience — dated atmosphere, disengaged service, and food that felt reheated or pre-made — made this a disappointing vacation meal. We share this as a heads-up for other families looking to make the most of a night out in Manchester.

Perfectly located on the main road which makes it easy to reach from around little towns. Loved the decorations of the restaurant and the atmosphere there is in general lovely. Food was okay-ish however few items were not good to say the least, the juicy chicken wings was actually very dry! We ordered 2 portions and kids were not able to eat it. Salmon tacos were great, so is kids meal of grilled chicken and rice.
Crab cakes were served with apple salsa, the apples were brown as tasted so bad.
I loved how simple yet great the menu is but food needs little more attention.

Dined here last night and met the friendliest staff ever, not to mention the cozy ambiance and delicious food. We tried their recommendations—the cod special was amazing, and the scallop risotto was outstanding. Thank you for having us along with Viper! The pup had a fantastic time meeting all of you!

Such good food and drinks! We loved everything we ordered which was: New England clam chowder, maple/Sriracha wings, pesto burger, vodka pasta with sausage, hot Vermonter (like a hot toddy), and pumpkin spiced white Russian. Definitely recommend.

Had a lovely meal sitting outside on the front patio. Although we came without a reservation, we were easily accommodated and able to get a table outdoors. The waitstaff was pleasant and food both affordable and good. The ahi tuna rice bowl was excellent! Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. Would definitely come back when in the are again.

Really great food, presented beautifully. Staff was very friendly and nice. Decent music selection playing. Really nice outdoor patio dining area, that actually has chairs surrounding a firepit in one spot! Definitely a very comfortable environment! Would definitely reccomend to anyone and will be back again the next time I’m in town.

I wish I had remembered to take photos, but everything looked and smelled so good that I couldn’t resist diving right in! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was energetic and inviting, and the staff—especially the host—were warm, welcoming, and attentive.

I started with the buffalo wings, which were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. For my entrée, I ordered the Filet Oscar, and let me tell you—it might just be the best meal I’ve had in a long time. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, tender and flavorful, then topped with succulent shrimp and genuine, fresh crab meat (none of that imitation stuff!).

Every bite was pure heaven, and the combination of great food, lively ambiance, and outstanding service made this an unforgettable dining experience. This place is a must-visit if you’re looking for a meal that truly impresses!

We came here after a long day on the slopes and we couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Service was great, drinks well made, and the Korean ribs were delicious. Go here with confidence.
