Customshop is a chef-driven restaurant that showcases local farms and purveyors in an effort to bring our guests the highest quality ingredients within our community. Executive Chef and Owner Andres Kaifer along with his team believe in crafting honest straightforward food with an elevated modern touch that delivers something truly unique. Weekly menu changes allow us to highlight the seasonality of food and the beauty of North Carolina produce, seafood, and specialty items. We are proud to offer a seasonal cocktail menu that also takes an ingredient-first approach and looks to mirror the creativity and ingenuity of our culinary team. Our wine list consist of curated old-world staples and new and emerging producers pushing the envelope.

We sat at the bar and the bartender was so excited to create 2 different drinks for us, instead of a typical named drink. We told him to be creative and make any kind of drink with our favorite Gin, and he did! To top it off, the food was amazing!

Dynamite meal. Well-made cocktails and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Really enjoyed my old fashioned. Burrata was dynamite as was the chocolate cake dessert. Trout was okay…was hoping for a little better tasting sides. Overall great experience and look forward to returning.

Wonderful cute place to grab dinner. You have to get the Heirloom tomatoes. They’re perfect and in season. Our server was terrific. Erika? Didn’t eat much as we had a late lunch but I asked about dessert and she recommended the flan and let me tell you. She was right. I’m still thinking about that flan. It had a coffee cream on top that blended perfectly. The scallops were eh.

AMAZING! From start to finish, I enjoyed everything about this place. The atmosphere is welcoming and trendy while also feeling upscale. The service was outstanding. Food and drinks both had outstanding presentation and were also delicious. Absolutely would recommend this place for a date night or a fun night out with friends!

Intimate dining spot that is tucked away on Elizabeth ave. The have some super thoughtful and delicious dishes and our waiter had fantastic wine pairing recommendations. I loved every dish we tried. Would definitely be back!!

The atmosphere of this place is awesome, super calm and dimly lit makes it an enjoyable aesthetic. The food was absolutely immaculate: the peppers, scallops, tomatoes, crab ravioli, chocolate marshmallow dessert and the blackberry tres leches. Not exaggerating when it was the best meal my wife and I ever had. Our survey was Greg and he was very knowledgeable and a kind energy.

Had a great experience at Customshop Handcrafted Food in Charlotte NC. They have a small menu and amazing cocktail and wine list. I ordered the hangar steak rare with fries. It was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly cooked and the fries were crispy and delicious. The bartender made an amazing dirty martini as well. Our server was friendly and attentive too. Will definitely go back.

I can’t recommend customshop enough if your looking for a great date night. Everything we had was absolutely amazing and prepared perfectly, combine that with the low like ambiance and you have a romantic date night. The duck was and crab ravioli were two of my favorite menu items. Then the both desert were amazing (flan and brioche bread pudding) but the bread pudding stole the show. I am on assignment at one the the near by hospitals and it is worth coming in and sitting at the bar after a hard day of work and enjoying with a glass of wine.
