Our award-winning restaurant offers an enticing menu of island-inspired cuisine along with spectacular views of Ma‘alaea Harbor. It’s the perfect dining destination to relax and watch for humpback whales or surfers, depending on the season. Seascape at Maui Ocean Center is a Platinum Certified “Ocean Friendly Restaurant”. This recognition is a reflection of our longtime dedication to serving a menu that is healthy, sustainable, and environmentally friendly. There are two convenient entrances, one inside the Aquarium and the other near the Ma‘alaea Harbor Shops. Aquarium admission is not required to dine.

Was recommended after our helicopter tours. Stop at the Maui Ocean Center. It is attached to the aquarium. Ordered rhe Canada’s (Cathch of the day) which was Onaga (snapper) with shrimp and taro potatoes. It was amazing. We also ordered the tempura lobster tail. Different but still excellent. All the food was cooked to perfection! I’m not a shrimp fan but these were cooked perfectly! Our server Caysha was extremely nice and helpful. Food came out quick. It is outdoor seating so you have to deal with flies and birds and an occasional chicken but it did not take away from the experience. Decently priced for the quality of the food. We really enjoyed everything about this place! Highly recommended for service, taste, and view!

We stopped at **Seascape Restaurant** during our visit to the Maui Ocean Center and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was — this is **far more than a typical “attraction restaurant.”**
I had the **fish tacos**, which were fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. My girlfriend went with the **fish special**, and it was equally impressive. What really stood out was how **unique and thoughtful the menu selections were**, especially considering this is part of an aquatic center. You can tell real effort went into offering quality, locally inspired dishes rather than generic tourist food.
The **views are incredible** — sitting with the ocean and harbor right in front of you makes the whole experience feel relaxed and very “Maui.” It’s the perfect place to take a break after walking through the exhibits.
Great food, unexpected quality, and a fantastic setting. Definitely worth stopping at, even if you’re just there for the Ocean Center.

Service was friendly, food was yummy! We had fish & chips and garden salad. Fish had a great flavor, fries were crispy, slaw was just the right amount of sweet, and the salads were full of fresh, crunchy veggies. *I think there’s more parking up on the hill by the aquarium.

Pros: Perfect location within the Maui Ocean Center facility. Tables on edge of property over looking the ocean. Minimum to large menu with sandwiches, salad, and fish. Reasonably priced beers.
Cons: A-al-cart dishes with add on expenses for fries or chips. Some plates are overpriced and during lunch slow service.

I came with 3 children and myself. Oldest child *loved* the fish chips. Service was great, they were busy. I had the nachos and that was good as well. Children’s portions are small and perfect for the little ones. Bonus – we were seated by the fish tank!
