High quality restaurant that is perfect for those staying at the hotel. Steak was cooked to perfection and the sea bass was flavorful. The glass of wine was a tad pricey but nothing to complain about.

I checked into the hotel around 4:45-5pm on a Friday night. Went back down to grab dinner at Sear around 6:45 thinking it was going to be packed, it was not. I was seated quickly and my server Carrie was excellent. I had the ribeye and mashed potatoes.

Absolute worst experience one could have. I waited an hour to eat here after checking into the hotel. They weren’t serving alcohol…? I ordered a steak medium rare and it was well done. Actually, it was more like shoe leather. The service was horrendous. Complete waste of money and time. I would have gotten a better meal at McDonalds. Do not come and waste your money. This place is trash!

Got the $60 fillet and was not impressed. Service was incredibly slow and after getting meal the steak was undercooked and green beans were raw. Unless you can’t leave the hotel go somewhere else.

This restaurant was the best I’ve eaten at while in Atlanta. I ordered short ribs and it came with green beans and mashed potatoes. Green beans could’ve been better but ribs and potatoes were good. Wait….but let me mention I ordered a burger to go. Y’all that burger and fries was so darn good I went back the next day to order two more but they were closed . Huge healthy burger too. When I go back to Atlanta I’m most definitely going there.

Food was good, the bacon was thin and greasy but everything else was good. The service has lots of room for improvement. The staff was nice but probably overwhelmed with the breakfast crowd in weekends.

For the “nice” restaurant in the Marriott Marquis, it was “meh” at best.

OK. So I am staying at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis and wanted to grab a nice quiet dinner. I decided to eat at Sear. The restaurant looked nice and not crowded. I ordered the bass, it sounded great and delicious, BUT it wasn’t 🙁 It was rubbery and it smelled bad. I still have the smell in my nose. I started to eat it, I couldn’t get my fork through the skin so I rolled over and the fish was rubbery. The skin should have been crispy!!!! Kind of like rubbery chicken. I saw a chef’s assistant, grab what looked like fish and it was weird. He threw it on skillet, I thought to myself that fish looks already cooked. After a few minutes he put water on it and threw it in the oven for a few minutes. It didn’t appear that he turned it over. That’s why I believe that it was already cooked and was just warming it up. The chef, who wasn’t in the kitchen and the waitress came to my table after they noticed that I wasn’t eating the fish. I showed them the fish and he tried to defend it and she was like no, it shouldn’t look like that. She agreed that it shouldn’t looked like that. She also took a taste and said….um no!! It is bad. I was also told that another patron of the restaurant just had the same experience that I did. So I ordered a burger after that, wasn’t going to eat beef. It was kind of OK. Not $26.00 ok. I would have preferred a $5 Whataburger. The waitress was awesome. She was very nice, that is the only reason I put 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 1 Star. I just really wanted a nice piece of fish. I hope that I don’t get sick. Very disappointed 🙁
